Spongebob Squarepants

Hey I bought the SpongueBob pc game for my son as one of his gifts but I cant get it to run...it gives a sound error...saying sb2.exe is finding a problem...then it crashes.

My kid really wanted to play it cause he likes SpongeBob....Ive looked for a patch but had no luck and Im not sure whatelse I can do. Ive managed to watch the opening movie, but after that it dies.

Has anyone got any ideas...or can anyone else find a patch or something...

can you turn sound off? maybe 98 instead of xp

Update sound card drivers.

If that doesnt work, then you could... Remove sound card from device manager, uninstall drivers.

Change sound card slot

Install newest drivers, reinstall hardware in Windows.

nah didnt work hey.....I think its sounds issues...its trying to use a sound blaster something and when it dont find it..it crashes.....thx though cause i did update my vid driver.....anyone else got any ideas?

update sund driver
update direct x
update xp to sp2

If that dont work go to SpongueBob fourms im sure you will find that someone has the same problem as you and see how the fixed it.

o and try this download the sb2.exe and replace it with the original
