Have you used this one though? I was keen to get it for my laptop but passed on it for some issues bought up by reviewers, from memory:

1) A lot of travel in the space bar equivalent, meaning you have to push it a fair way before it registers.
2) Unstable, rocks a fair bit.
3) Dodgy drivers, problems with setting keys.

Apparently the older version didn't suffer these problems. At the price they want for this thing, these issues pretty much sink it.

As it stands I bought an Apple USB keyboard (the aluminium one - because I like the keys) instead and have been very happy with it. Roughly the same price.

If any of you guys do have this device, let me know what you think of it.

i had the old one (now in my laptop bag)

the new one came out and being me i had to have it - had to turn the blue light off as WAY TOO BRIGHT and removed the anoing joystick feture ont eh thumb pad.

really just like th old one now but shiny black - and that does count  ::fookuESSEEImagonnakilljoooFAG::

Like gammo i too have been using the nostromo for years since ut2003 actually and let me tell you its frikkin brilliant..........i cant play with a regular keyboard anymore   im too used to this now....................i havent tried the new model yet.........i will order one pronto.....

Got it >>  unpacked it >>  loaded the drivers >>  connected the device >>  went to import my old n52 Profiles >>  import not allowed >>  unistalled the drivers >>  disconnected the device >>  put it back in the box >>  reconnected my old n52 >>  ownage!!!

Well... Interesting... works OK for some but not others...

I quite like the keyboard I have now so I think I'll still pass on this for the time being. Good to hear people's opinions / trials / tribulations with it though

THe n52Te, looks killer, feels awesome  overall hardware wise, it's pretty good.

But if i can't import the profiles that i've spent years perfecting, then it's a useless piece of crap.

u can just copy n paste, i did it - took an hour of fookin around - just did nto uninstall old drivers
