Built for speed!!! The new rig specs

Ok I cant friggin sleep im too excited.
Im going to buy all the bits for my rig build in the morning.

Ram Corsair 16GB

Cooling Corsair Hydro H70(water)

Display BenQ Gaming grade 2410T LED 2ms 120hz
Case Antec 1200 Tower

The rig will be used for GAMES ONLY.No web use no apps no antivirus.I will even be running Teamspeak on a seperate PC. Just to keep it running lean and clean.Decided against HDD and will install OS and Game directly to the solid state drive for blistering fast speeds.

That's similar to what I am looking at building although I hadn't decided on the gaming monitor yet - a 120hz monitor - nice!

I was waiting till the AMD bulldozer cpu is out - but it looks like it 'might' be delayed again due to AMD wanting to tweak it - hmmm, this may mean it's not performing as best as it could...

Basically I was looking at something very similar to your rig, different case, ssd and mobo but similar in performance, just need to check a few more things before pulling the trigger

Does this mean we will see you back playing ut3 again soon?

p.s. I would still get an HDD though to offload some of the OS stuff that would wear down an SSD - but then again, I wouldn't be building a rig just for gaming! He he he - I have an i7 laptop with 16gb of ram - I use it for VM's - ram is cheap atm, so why not populate it.
I assume you are running Win 7 64 bit? Must be with all that ram

my internet not up yet.....they had shut down my account completely.....Which means they have to re establish my account. which means they cant/wont use the existing modem.

Up to 14 days for new modem to arrive!!!!!
