Very cool, and quite unprecedented in recent times. Hopefully the beginnings of a larger movement.
Occupy Wall Street Protest Enters Second Week
Re: Occupy Wall Street Protest Enters Second Week
Na nothing will change until we have the French Revolution Part II.
I hereby volunteer to be the Gullitone operator.....
All that yelling, just makes the thieves inside the building laught louder cause while those dopes are down there protesting, PEACEFULLY, the Bankters inside are stealing what's left of the coutries/world's wealth.....
If those protesters really want to make an impact, get their voice heard and influence change, then they have to act like their own Governement acts, when it wants something really, really bad....
FUCKING TAKE IT BY FORCE!!!!!!!!!!!
So instead of waiving useless placards and flags, they should be waiving Molotov Cocktails, chainsaws, 12 gauge shotguns, bazookas, Anti-tank mines, even a few Avril's for good measure.
If you want change then you have to tear the system down, the Phoenix can ONLY rise from the ashes of the past, it can not be resurrected at will.

Hehe Avrils. No redeemers?
If you mean some kind of all out war, then I definitely disagree with you for many reasons. If you mean 'destruction', (non-human), then I respect that as a tactic, but I don't think it is the right one.
They know exactly how to deal with that, and would easily be able to obfuscate the issue. It would be a labeled a riot, the bulk of the population would reflexively dismiss and/or forget it ever happened. The ideas would most likely be lost.
I always thought that a large part of the meaning behind mass protest like this was to provoke dialog and stimulate the bulk of the population who either silently agree with the protesters in the first place or have never given the ideas any thought, not to convince Jim banker he ought to be more ethical.
And in that sense I think it is very successful so far, despite being almost completely ignored by the mainstream press. It has grown, and attracted large 'non-radical' elements, including unions now. http://www.commondreams.org/further/2011/09/29-0
So I think having, say, 10 million people who stand in defense of these issues using all their non-violent resources is far more powerful than being able to recruit 100,000 to help you burn down a city. Which I wouldn't necessarily disagree with, but realistically you would be obscenely outnumbered and outgunned against a state military force. And it would just be one more pretense for the evolution to a full police state.
Not to say they always work, but from my knowledge, I believe buried in history is that non-violent movements have been more successful than non-violent movements. That revolutions happen as mass inscrutable shifts of consciousness that grow over time and then become visible only when they peak, when a tipping point is reached.
You have to expect the possibility that other political groups will try to co-opt the movement, that provocateurs will try to incite violence (for the same reasons I mentioned above), or that it will simply fizzle out without substantial change.
This article http://www.salon.com/news/opinion/glenn ... index.htmlis a fairly good summary of the reaction to the protests.
The occurrence of large scale action of ANY kind in recent years has been far and few between, so I think this is something worthwhile and a pretty good start.
Sorry didn't mean to write an essay.

Re: Occupy Wall Street Protest Enters Second Week
I understand what you are saying. In fact, I can think of NO peaceful movement that has achieved anything. But I understand what you are saying.
Say India is worse off after Gandhi then before. His voice has zero weight in the lives of the starving.
India's starving were created via violence and force initiated by the invading British pigs.
Now that I think about it, starvation and colonial expansion go hand n hand... for the those unfortunate natives, that is, but for us, it's another trip to the mall for some more goodies... yum yum yum....
This armed resistance certainly had enough and decided to take back by force what was taken away by the silver tongue and fear:
http://fuckcopyright.blogspot.com/2009/ ... 52min.html
I'm been waaaaaayy generalissimo of course.. pinch of salt 'n all.... BUT
All this wall street movement is doing is making fools of themselves, they will achieve absolutely nothing. There just occupying their own egos and guilt complexes. Ironically enough, so are the Banksters on the other side of the fence. All this financial chaos was brought about by tiny, failed egos inside the minds of these so called Banksters.
But don't think for a second that any of those protesters are NOT capable of doing what the banksters have been doing. Understand that greed is a human disease, not exclusive to the Banksters domain but to all of humanity.
If now, 10 million march to the steps of The Blood-red (White) House, then maybe those inside will feel the fear enough to understand....
I think that's what it will take, peacefully speaking, to initiate change.... but you and I both know it will never be allowed to get that far...
fear rules the American people and it's going to take a bit more then the suffering their feeling right now, to shake them out of their slumber...
the revolution is coming... when the middle class collapses then all out war is inevitable...
but it won't be a war of attrition like any we are used to on CNN now... it will be a war against the very nature of our existence, a war that will have us eating our self's alive, tearing each other apart limb from limb with our bare hands until only the extremely adaptable ones are left to rule an empty world...
...the strong, the meek, the weak, the rich, the poor, the young, the old, the beautiful, the ugly, the black and the white; will all perish, only the most adaptable in our species will survive the coming millennium...
and there in the last sentence you have your answer.
Change can not be achieved by peace or by violence, it can only be achieved via an entire paradigm shit in our consciousness. Until we can do that, then we are behaving nothing more then as an organism ruled by the hardwired genetics of survival.
By entire I mean both sides of the argument, in this case: The protesters outside and the Banksters inside the building.
--Peace threatens no one, least of all the Banksters.
--Violence threatens the Banksters but once their hanging from the treetops, the protesters who take their place quickly become Banksters themselves. <---History has proven that one over and over)
So far, neither one of those two groups looks like they know what the fuck their talking about... They both want a continuation of the good times, but one were neither suffer or has to sacrifice anything...
No, neither work, only through TOTAL and complete sacrifice of our ego's can we bring about change. It's non negotiable.
To achieve paradigm change one of the most important things we need to understand is that; there is no separation of mind, body and soul. But how can that be achieved now?
Right now we are all obsessed with keeping the mind separate from the body via the way we live and the soul in the exclusive realm of the Gods via our religions.
So can we have effective change at the moment then? Fuck no! Best we will do is band-aid the problem, let it compound for another 10 years and then let the suckers down the line worry about it.
ffs....
I'll tell ya what, not all hope is lost... Heads buried deep in the sand in denial, but we still somehow manage to free our hands to patch our self's up and continue stumbling along our evolutionary path... so no not all hope is lost...
those protesters if they knew what the fuck they were doing, would instead of wasting energy marching, would organize massive "Boycotts" of Wall street associated corporation's products.
Really want to send a message home to the Banksters?! STOP consuming like fat pigs!
Every time you buy something you don't need, like the new iPhoney 4S, you empower the Banksters. How many of those in that protest crowd are iPhonies? lolz let's not go there man...
Start your own vegi patch in your backyard (If you have one) so you don't give so much money to Woolworths for products made overseas by child labor and all the environmental destruction involved. So they can boast about their 5 billion dollar profits... fucking OBSCENE!!!
Don't have a vegi patch, then walk down to your local Park and fucking start one! What, those parks are only good for dogs to shit in?

Money; they (Corporations) are hardwired to accumulate it, by any means necessary, you are either a pawn or collateral damage, there is no middle ground in corporate ethics or capitalism for that matter.
It's very easy to reshape our society, but only if WE the people complaining are willing to sacrifice everything, that's the war I'm talking about.

Re: Occupy Wall Street Protest Enters Second Week
Clearrer definition of what a capatalist society is;
It is a "Totalitarian Mercantile Society" who's masters are the Banksters and the rich. They represent and exercise 'Power'.
Those poor saps, peacefully marching over to Wall street, are the slaves of this society. In fact if you are not in the controller class of the Banksters and the industriously rich, then you are nothing but a slave, period.
We all inhabit a condemned planet. This society voraciously and intrinsically depends on the finite resources of this planet, therefore this planet is condemned.
So in understanding those very fundamental, but basic facts, you can use History to draw a road map of "Change", and it will lead to the following conclusion:

Destruction of the Totalitarian Mercantile Society is not a matter of opinion, it is an absolute necessity in a condemned world. Since power is every were, it is every were at every hour, that it must be attacked.Long-Pig Chef and the Hairless Goat..
