just got an MX510 from EB for $90

i went back to using my MX500 though. . it seems better to me?

maybe im just used to it... ?

Nah man........i had mx 500 and im here to tell u the mx510 is better............

but to get the full benefits from this mouse u should try using it in the ps2 port rather than the usb..............thyen go to >control panel>mouse>hardware>properties>advanced settings> and increse the sample rate to 200 and the input buffer to 300 and u will feel d awesomeness [/quote]
Oi can u tweak those settings useing the mx500 an is it really better have it in the ps2 port ??

Good questions here, I'd like some definite answers, on the ps2 slot, and the mouse drivers versus the windows drivers, cause I'm ordering a mx510 tomorrow.

I have the Logitech Cordless DUO MX, thats the MX700 mouse and a cordless keyboard. I find the heavier the mouse the better it is for sniping.

ROFL they are both the same in terms of quality, DPI and all that crap - just one is cordless and the other isn't. I had a MX500 ;) went to the MX700 in the MX Cordless DUO because I am sick to death of cords.

I bought a mx510 today, pairing with a nice headset with mic. The mouse seems smooth enough (and heavier than my last mouse), let's see if I can become the hitscan badass I've always wanted to be.

I just been practising in Botmatches with my new mouse. Hmm, with practice, my accuracy will improve, of that I am sure. One thing I'm having problems with is turning around, or turning quickly, I end up facing a direction I didn't expect to be facing (while the bot beats on me). I think it has something to do with acceleration. We'll see what happens...

Gades, if you wont accuracy, turn accelerateion, smoothing and all that shit off.

Then, get your mouse where a 180 degree turn involved your arm doing a 45 degree move which is easy to physically remember. This should be around the sensitivity of 1.20-1.30. I have it myself at 1.10.

I have to pick the mouse up of the desk everynow and then, but that takes a split second anyway, which is nothing compared to the accuracy gains I get by the low sensitivity.

Try it. Oh, and if you wanna know how to make your aim shit hot, PM me.

You all WISH that those constantly reappearing tattoos on your forheads from my Lightning Gun was from an aimbot.

Look, I can even see the LG tattoos on certain people's foreheads in thier signatures.

1 on 1 style!
