Hey, I like Invert mouse.

I also like to turn my keyboard upside down, but why stop there?

I also prefer to turn my monitor on its ass, put a mirror on the ceiling and lie on the floor so I can REALLY relax and be UBER leet when I play UT.

. . . and if i didn't b4 i certainly do now see why they call u Wakko

i must agree with wakko doin things backward both sux ......and ubersux.. i use derros comp for 3 seconds and have a stroke

invert reeely freeks me out.. like nasty vesties trying to get in ur pants freeky..(my innermost fear)

ive heard of a game that cures inveters..cause the crosshair moves first then the view moves and the crosshair wont change to invert so the crosshair gos up then the view goes down...made the invert dood have a brain bleed and changed him in 2 minutes flat

u know, if i play with the mouse not inverted i get that motion sickness thingie . . . tried it recently & cud not game for a week!
Anyways, maybe derro & i r the sensible ones & its u guys that r crazy . . . consider that!

Ok they ar things you can chenge to play betar

1. Crosshairs ----Maur's Crosshair pack

2. bforcedefaultcharacter---- If you guys are finding it hard to see teams like me in 2004 full game.

in your ut2k4.ini findt the line "bforcedefaultcharacter = false" under [unrealgame.deathmatch] and change it to True
then, in your use.ini under [xgame.xpawn], find

PlacedCharacterName= whateverdfaultmodelishere
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=whateverdefaultfemalemodelis
Change it to

PlacedCharacterName=Gorge
PlacedFemaleCharacterName=Rylisa

This will make all male characters appear as gorge and all female characters appear as rylisa (it doesnt work if you try to make the female characters appear as gorge)
It helps a bit. ;)

This is excellent for xloc end weapon binding in CTF

well the tracbal i used was Logitech so i have stuck with the Logitech mx510 mouse too. presently i use custom crosshairs so i know which gun i am using (hopeless at reading weapon bar) and dont know sounds of each gun upon change yet.
Forced characters is an old Quake3 habit so doing that already. looking forward to trying piped weapons with scroll tho

I got enoguht keys around ma fingers and buttons on da mousey to call da wepas I need wen i need them..

Oh and the FOV one, but it's not exakly wat i had on mind... workign on a change for it.

If you want tips, do the only thing I can do. Play fast, and play smart. Try to predict where your enemy is going to shoot, and not be there when he does. Time the powerups and try to seek the upper ground. Dodgejump like a madman and walljump down lifts. In low-grav maps, don't be the guy floating through the air, you be the guy shooting down the guys floating through the air =). Sneak up on players hammering themselves and combo one of them, from above preferably.

You can get tips like these by spectating good players, or at least, the highest scoring player.
