i still only get between 1-3hs a game. ur just going nutz with it. it also helps (as too in ut2k4) that when u snipe ur at a high ground and it is easier to get hs.

i really like this game, its fun. i have not had much game time yet dude to work. it is a challange. i love challanges.

in tight areas you can still bounce off walls all over the place which i like and i think my accuracy has gone to shit as i used to dodgejump to smooth my aim. that and the flack still confuses me (my fav tourcher device)

the mini has always been over-powered but with calm and 1337ness u will over come that with moving-shock combos (yes dru u can do it, i was pulling them off all last night) and lg like ut2k4. i came at gammo last night firing left and right an up an down with spam and he stood there, lined me up and BOOM i was dead.

once we learn te maps like agitation we will go nutz for this game, once they sort the bugs out we will go nutz for this game and once we stop bagging this and take it how it is (a new game) we will go nutz for this game

Was looking forward to this release,i cant see the full game being very diferent to the demo except the missing graphics cause surely its been cut down.Half the games released with this engine look a shitload better than Ut itself ffs!!  ::hissyfit::

Ié put in a shitload of hours in the last two weks,  on this game and it just frustrates me more and more......

Is that the sum total of what Ut3 is going to be like?  camp, headshot, camp, headshot..... if I go into the fray, I die instantly and I mean, I die before I spawn... ffs.....

I can barely see any of the players, with that motherfucking blur / bloom effect,

the player sounds sux enormus dog balls, can't hear shit... booom.. Manta rape yet again......

the weapons feel, like there made of plastic...... the new weapon sounds are from the Vic20 days..... 2klb monotones..... there just horrible....... the new shockl combo sound is pathetic, compared to Ut4....

But the worst, most depressing thing about it all..... the movement, it just.. just... leaves me totally cold.... theres an emphasized 'heaviness' to the movement... that JUST PLAIN FUCKING SUX!!!!!!!

On a positive note..... there will allways be MODS & Mutators, that will, perhaps, bring back some of the 'freedom' we got so used to  in Ut4.....

We'll just have to see what happens basically ...... ie whether they tweak it enough before release (can't see this happening without pushing back the release date), whether to community accepts the game as is, or whether 3rd party mod makers will reinvent the game (like they did to Quake 3 apparently).

I watch the mod making community somewhat closely so we'll see.

I'm also gonna find ways to keep hitscan alive in this game. I wanna be the guy who shocktapes the crud out of these guys in the fray ..... headshots in the fray the next second etc. Just need to change my gameplay ...... and put MY OWN crosshairs on my weapons (I want my upside down L shaped crosshair NOW).

One good thing about this game so far, it's taught me how to spam. UT2004 never really taught me how to spam (and players like Hender and 2k took full advantage of that, lolz). But UT3 has done that for me already, and I've even been able to use that knowledge back in UT2004 as well.

i played this for a few hours and it sure is much much slower.

24 player server are just stupid by the way.  I need to find a server with 8 MAX with the demo maps.

Also, whats the go with the mouse lag.  The cross hairs are slow, and I am getting good frames.

Ok I played this abit now.

It is a totally different game.  It has alot going for it, and alot wrong with it, game play and design wise.  Small maps with large players SUX majorly at the moment.   That being said, I was watching a duel last night and it did look like HEAPS of fun.  4 players DM's are heaps of fun.

I give it the game a 85/100.  However compared to what I wanted, 61/100.

I will stick with it for a while and see how it goes.  

Things that EARK me:

Most of all - Mouse movement & dodgy aiming, I can't hit shit with shock or sniper.  But must learn that one.
Widescreen support SUXCOXORS
Key Bindings are yet to be figured
Model size is worse than UT2k3 and 4
Demo has no surround sound support

That's it for now, I don't mind the movement really, I like the heavyness at the moment.

The way I see it is, if Í don't play it, I am gonna have to learn another game anyway.  So I may as well learn this one.

I'll have to wait and see how I keep liking it.

I played a few DM 3 players games and I got to tell you I am really likin it.  It fast when you start wall dodging.  Wall dodgin is the fastest way to get around hands down.
I am getting used to moving around.  It is FAR easier to stay alive in this game and get away.  THey have killed the "you have armour no one can escape."

I am yet to get the hang of the rockets.

I gotta fix the widescreen and FOV it is majorly shithouse.  I search tomorow.  I hear you can turn it up to 100 max, default is on 90.  If you have a widescreen they chop the top and bottoms off the wankers.

Fucking shit, but fuckin fun none the less now that I is getting the hang of it.

shortened: go to community and then friends. click add friends and type thier username in and then send. when u want to find someone you just go to community and then friends, it tells u if they are online. u can click on their name and send a message and if the server is joinable u can click and join them. ps. the friends thing needs to be done both ways eg. i send u an invite and then u have to send me one, for it to work properly
