The forums do have a series of issues, granted.. but they do not impede anyone form using them effectively. They are more of a nuisance.....

The reason there is some weird behaivou on these forums, is because when i installed the new CMS it was different from the previous format of the original forums. they were Invision Power Board.. this is phpBB.... (There is considerable post by me on that migration, no need to get into here all over again)....

Th emain objective was NOT to loose the exixting post/information/members form the original forums.... but the major prob with those was .. jsut taht , they were ONLy forums.. and offered no extrra stuff, like we have now.....

So in doing that, the procedure was rather a complex, assortmaent of coversions from one format to another.....

Wich simply put means... that NOT everything is pristine.... and NOT everything is working exakly as it should.

So the cut off point was reached.. that is, do the new probs... equal such a disaster that the forums are unusable.. so they should go?

Or

Can we live with them, becaseu the forums as such work fine.. and in due time gammo might be able to fix 'em one by one....?

(And NO, I dont expect an answer to the above 2 questions.. and YES they are rhetorical)

aZZIe, goto your profile, in there there should be an option (Somewere near the bottom of the profile page) that allows to upload an avatar.. or remotly link up to it....

Avatars were not showing correctly becaseu the allowed seetings were wrong.

Have tweaked it.. hopefully they should be ok now.

aZZie, in your profile page find the line:

Edit Signature (Preview included):

and click on the edit Sig button... it does not allow for uploading, so that means you need to have your sig uploaded onto a server sumplace.. (Like the webspace your ISP gives you with your account) then get the link that points to it.. and put that in your edit signature area..... preview it, if it works then submit and away you go.

If you can not host your sig, the email it to me plaese.

OK finally figured out the correct bloody php coding to make the left hand side menu blocks dissapear when viewing/using the forums.

Now the neolithic low rez users out there, should have no prob wid sideways scrolling.
