ok i need some help getting my 6800gt to run correctly..................................i been trying for weeks to fix this keyboard/mouse lag which is driving me nuts!

heres what ive done so far

updated all drivers
updated mobo bios
bought new mobo
tweaked ini and display properties
i dont know wat else to do

if u have an nvidia could u post wat settingsu use?

Could be port address issues, which I know nothing about. But its possible. You could have conflict with your AGP and the Input devices set on the same address thingy.

os and versions sp1\2 whatever..and is it a cracked pir8 ver
cpu and overclock if applic
mboard..front side bus speed would b nice to know..agp settings 4x 8x... extra cards(sound lan vidcap tv tuners.ect ect )i do mean everything
ram (dual channel, brand ,speed you got it at)
what mouse and what port u useing ps2 usb...
anything u got connected, camera scanner printer
hdds brands and how youve got em connected (1 wd 40gig pri mastr so on)
anything else you can think of ....

im not trying to treat you like you dont know what u r doing AT ALL ok
some of it may not be relevant but it helps rule stuff out ..ive seen some REALY weird shit happen for the stoopidest reasons.... omg stoopid .... "shakes head"

man i got a 70 dolla ASROCK mobo... MX4200 TI 128MB Of OLD SLOW RAMDAC.....

and I run nothing but UT4 and Ts.. on the setup.. all my other shit is done with two separeta PC.... that are pure high-end.. lioke one year old... and they run UT like shit....

uder words.... dont high end.. daz a suckers game.. go stable end....

your mouse lag be in fact be to PORT probs.. wakks right.. PORTS casue wierd shit to happend..

lag = sumtinng on your system is not processing at the correct speed.,..

that sumting is connected to your mouse.

start there... like a flowchart u know caseu and effect.. that should help you isolate the prob.. logical deduction.....

run sum of tghose totally stoopid benchmark test.. dat MEAN absolutely nothing in the real world.... see wat they came up with..

run a diagnostics on your ports .. ffs

get an anal probe.......

2 x 512mb kingston ram in dual channel
windows xp home sp1
logitech mx510 connected to usb
asus P4c800 delux motherboard
agpx8 ......aperature set to 128
maxtor 60g 7200rpm HD
microsoft keyboard
400w psu
onboard sound (was using audigy platinum but removed it in case it was causing issues)

my cpu has a bad ass zalman cooler and i have 7 case fans so its not a heat issue

this set up should frikkin rok wtf!

and i also STRONAGLY suggest you get rid of your 7 fans... ffs....

da graphics turd has its own cooling system.... so you ONLY need 2 fans MAX one pumping in.. da uder pumping out.. remeber ur power supply sucks hot air out two..

put ur exhust fan at the very top of ya case, like above your cd rom n shit.. put ur intake at the very bottom of the case...

ffs.... da more gizmos u got running.. da more likely sumting is interferring with sumting else.. you know.. pesky like most fucking people..... and da more likel;y sumting will go BOOM!

also ur causing huge currents to run around on ur PC.. trying to keep to all the fucking fans..

ffs... why dun joo just put it in the fridge and buy extensions for ur monitor/nouse/keyboard/.... ffs

i say first thing to try is mouse into ps2 with the adaptor that came with it cuse ive heard of lag issues with usb ..........im 90% sure thatll fix it (but usb is faster blah blah blah shuddup ps2 works fine) B)

USB max out @ 150Mhz

PS2 max out @ 200Mhz

Dixko already uses PS2. (He suggested it to me)

I use PS2 on my MX510

result... silky smoth, cream in joos pantzz......
