Please post any errors here in this thread.

Errors like;

Style template malfunctions
Specific functions faiulure
Anything that is not working correctly.

Submit you report, just like that, as an error report, giving as much detail as possible about what you encountered.

Example:

The skin/style you are using, the area of the forum you were in, the function you were calling when it happening, etc....

I will try to fix it ASAP!

Note: Do not post anything else here but what I just said, it will get instantly deleted. Don't start a thousand threads all over the place reporting errors, Instant deletion will occur, I'm not going to move them here, just kill them.

Thanks.

ERROR 1 I had an error before [blur]this formating feature is supposed to be flash[/blur]

In other words the Formatting options are there, but no under thier specified headings/buttons.

SO I go to use [flash] and it comes up [blur] instead.

ERROR 2 Our forums tags/names do not show.

ok, one thing i think is a major with the forums is this..

u know when your corisponding icon lights up to indicate there is a new thread in that section, then when you go in the thread it also displays the thread with a different color to indicate its either a new thread or a new reply.... ok

the problem is i did this, seen that there was a new reply to a thread, but i didn't enter it to read it.. when i retunred later to view it, the colored icon of it was not colored, , in other words it had been "marked as read" when i hadn't looked at it..

also i liked in the old forums (for example) when i myself made a new thread or reply, it would light up showing that there was a new reply on my own posts... so i dunno, if we can get this working liek this again, it would be cool.. :)

ERROR 2 FIX Fixed, it was the skin that blocked out the white/grey text so I couldnt see the tags, or the cursor.

ERROR 3

Talking about Derro's error, when I select <View New Replies> and I get a list of new reply's in threads, the first Coloured icon to view latest reply will work, then the rest wont, they will just pretend there is no thread there.

I really have to get this problem fixed soon, its driving me nuts!

Ok, here is the pics after I clic on "Show new posts":

I click the first Orange icon.  Then after that the remainder all display this:

It is shitting me.  I have tried various combinations to keep the links alive, but as soon as the first one is clicked, the rest mess up.

@woah
wtf wakko, looks like u dont even seem to see the old posts dunno whats going on..

but it seems i am getting a similar problem..

but my approach was differnt, i went to make a private message to kazza..

the motley and redoubt were highlighted telling me that there were new replys, i contined to make the message first, sent the message, and when i retunred, the replys in those threads had been automatically marked as read... tis not healthy :(

you made the thread i'm going to make use of it :)

its a shame we have all been limited to one type of skin..

i would agree that each person's mood / attitude can be determined by the surroundings of a display, eg these colors are dark therefore gives off that feeling..

i hope that we can introduce some more skins back later when all is working good, especially fiblack and the other bright ones, becasue i think brighter more colorfull skins can thus brighten the mood of the user dont you think ?.. thoughts ?

IT's not going to happen for along time.

The formidable task of porting 365 modifications on this forums over to the phpNuke forums, is, next to impossible.

It's virtually impossible to find all the mods we need, so i can port them over one by one. We tried that and opnly found some.

Also, the time it takes to port all this over?

Honestly, how much more time do you want from me?

In short, Live with the forum skin that has been set to default, it's the best one based on both brightness and darkness, but more importatnly it meets the nessecary critiria for it to work properly.

Until I can resolve (It won't be anytime soon) the intergration issue, this is what we got.

You can change the portal skin to any of the installed ones, just look on the right hand side of the front page (Hit HOME on the navigation menu) and look for the block called  STYLES... jsut pick opne an away ya go....

Sorry.

Wakko, I don't have that problem, along with a few other people, tells me it's problably in your client side settings....

I'm not sure..

I'll try to figure it out.

Ive got a few errors:

ERROR 1:
The whole top banner and buttons do not display at all.  Te first thing I see is "Make Homepage  •  Add to Favorites (CTRL-D) ".  very annoying

ERROr 2:
When I click a link, the page sometimes loads totally scrolled to the bottom

ERROR 3:
Sometimes when posting, I am redirected to a blank page then redirected back to the forum index without asking

ERROR 4:
Invision is so much fucking better!

yeah  eky and larz.. its the auto resisable iFrame, that is beign used to make it appear like the Forums are intergrated into the portal.

I'm currently working on a solution, most likely doing away with these fullymodded forums, as the 365+ mods.. tend to lag the loading time and for the most part there not really used...

So might just migrate the post and user tables pover to the Portals intergrated forums.. a scaled down version of phpBB 2.0.11.

No eky we are not going back to invision... invision want money or we need to get hosted by a free invision hosting provider.. and that is NOT going to happen under any circumstances. Because we would have to oblidege to their TOS.. and their TOS can get tossed.

Most of the probs, as i said is because of the heavy engine load due to the huge amount of mods working and the way the iFrame renders. Also eky the prob off it opening up on the bottom of the page is a FireFox prob.. ie don't do it. mainly cause iFrames were developed for ie..... way back at the dawn of man.....

Should be fixed soon... but give it alittle while.. just koala bear with it... working on it...

Ohh.. da added bonus of going with the intergrated phpBB on the portal, is dat the foums will all get rendered along with the Portal theme each of you use.... so ya got chooice again.... and the button under the logo, will work correctly....

and it will all happen faster.. damm these Fully Modded ones lag out... lol
