*WCG Tournament:*
WCG 2005 is launching a new stage of gaming in Australia and New
Zealand. A tour event program has already started. Similar to the
PGA/golf and ATP/tennis tour, gamers can compete at 16 nominated events
throughout Australia to gain competition points for a national ranking
system. Gamers can follow the tour, gaining competition points,
increasing their ranking to gain better seeding for the next tournament
or the national finals.

*Ranking System:*
The ranking system will allow us to build and publish gamer profiles.
The ranking system and profiles
http://www.worldcybergames.com.au/viewC ... entId=1060 will
allow us to broaden the audience participation in WCG gaming. All of
this is aimed at building competitive gaming in Australia at all levels.

*Webcast:*
To further support WCG, we have developed Webcast
http://www.worldcybergames.com.au/ - a new and innovative way to
broadcast gaming. We take the game being played out of the server, add
commentary and provide scoring in real time and you watch online. The
first part of is the replay of WCG2004 final between 23 and fzero. More
games and maps of key games will be added. The first live broadcast of
these games will be the TransTasman and then the National Final in
Sydney in September.

*Sponsors:*
To make this possible we have secured great sponsors. Samsung
http://www.samsung.com/au/index.htm continues with OptusNet
http://www.optusnet.com.au/ coming in as a Major Sponsor and Webcast
Partner. Kappa
http://www.worldcybergames.com.au/viewC ... entId=1071
broaden the mix, providing cool clothing and gear and from last year we
have AMD <http://www.amd.com/us-en/>, Cooler Master
http://www.coolermaster.com/ Gigabyte http://www.giga-byte.com.au/
TwinMoss <http://www.twinmos.com/ and Western Digital
http://www.westerndigital.com/en/index.asp?Language=en. These people
get gaming and support our plans to take gaming to the next level. We
look forward to sharing the ride with all of you.

Good luck, play hard, play often!!
