Getting it as soon as I can, looks extremely relevant to what is happening here in Australia and the Australian governments, unquestionable allienge with the US totalitarian state, and Howard's unabashed love of Bush.
Just think of the American Peace protestor recently deported, without explanation, suffice to say, he was a threat to national security, our democratic right to free speech has been taken from us, it just does not get any plainner then that. You have free speech if you toe the Administrations line and speak their diatribe, deviate from the rhetoric and you will be removed, put under investigation and your basic rights (That come with a democracy) will be withheld, simply because you have been labelled: "Terror Suspect".
I recall reading many accoutns of Communist and dictator regines and perhaps the most telling and common factor of them all is, the suppression of your right to voice an opinion that differs from the party.
I fear this country and it's national identity has been sold out for the sake of oil and Globolisation.
Will post again when I actually get it and have read it.
