Built up dust and fluff can choke your heatsinks and clog up airvents making your system swelter....leading to poor performance or even system crashes........

As we move into the warmer summer months it is a good idea to give your pc/case a good clean to improve ventilation and airflow.

I did this the other day and and it reduced my video cards operating temp by 15 degrees!

All you need is a vacuum cleaner and a small clean long haired paintbrush.

Use the paint brush to remove built up dust and fluff from all vents and fans .....the long hairs allow u to get between the fan blades to clean the heatsink fins on your cpu.

Also remove your video card flip it over and clean out the heatsink with the brush then simply vacuum all the remaining debris.

This should be done 4 times a year......

R@ge sorry to here about your predicament....a simple solution is to place all waterlogged components ie. video/sound cards etc into the microwave and set to high for 10 minutes.
