Time to LEAVE Optus

YEp, never thought I'd say it, but it's time to leave them and find another provider.

Recently, actually round the same time my ping went to hell, OPTUS upgraded their network usage restrictions to 256klb UPLOAD speed limit.

See I been getting 30+klb uploding speeds for about 2 to 3 weeks, round the same time Optus upgraded thier stuff....

So what is happening is that the p2p activity with Optus customers has exploded.... wich in turn is saturating the bandwith for everyone else.

Meaning I'm grounded in unplayable lag, wich means I'm leving Optus....

Period....

telstra and optus all sux but out of the two i say telstra has better options you can change your frequancys and chaneles as optus only has one.
at night i get 24 ping on kaos server 36 daytime that is whan the server is working ok lol.

200 ping on kaos server
server is gay ozforces must be running it in a 56k lol.
40 ping on gamearena and all other servers.

2k thats if you change your phone to them too.......AND they have heartbeat wich disconnets you if you dont leave a backdoor open.

i say fuck telstra right in the ear......go find someone else..they r all too expensive.

I'm waiting for TSN to upgrade the lines so I can get 1.5mb. I'll get that unlimited for about $60 per month, $10 more than I'm paying now.

I could get 24mb, but that's only 50gb per month, which the rest of my family would chew up pretty quickly.

Of course when I do upgrade, I'll be offline for about a week while they do thier thing.

Grr, can't wait, and getting sick of waiting....

i only use 5 to 6gig a month cant be fucked downloading shit quality movies better off renting a dvd and burning it.
