What is the point of having so much email space if you can not send or receive a file bigger then Leash's dick?
I would NEVER use a Microsoft Email service:
Their big enought without me adding to their numbers. The way to send a message to these huge monoliths of companies is NOT to use their thinly veiled services, because mate all they do is leech and spudware you, and you don't even know it.
And Fastmail.FM shits all over hotmail, yahoo and all those bloated add carriers.... and marketing tools... cause that's what they really are, marketing arms of their vested interest....

the only reason that i prefer to use hotmail is the fact that i know that they will be around in 5 or 10 or 20 or even 50 years. Hence i can have the same email adress forever.
These other little independent jobbies whilst i agree are better then hotmail etc ...could be gone tomorrow.

DSid you know any decent Email service gives an option to EXPORT your addys?
If there ever was a good reason to stick it to MS, here's a small step in the right direction. Monopolies exist if we buy into them.
They fall apart if you do not.

i have used msn messenger for 6yrs an have not gotten a trojan from it yet!

Not all trojans are designed to be malicious.
It is a well know fact that MS, store all their user information as does Google and af ew other major players. It is also a well know fact, that there are over 100 spudwares built into XP... each one of them sends particular data back to MS.
It not gonna hurt you, but just consider that your privacy is comprimised. Amonsgt other things going on there in the background.
The massess are not intelligent and they do not make the right chooice, flashing lights usually gets their attention and then the game is up.
All I saying is'there is plenty of ALTERNATIVES out there that do the same job, if not better, then the Spudware bloated "Free-services" offered by MS and companies of that nature.

But I try to use independent programms as much as possible. Independent software developers are destroyed by the monopolistic endevours of the likes of MS, Apple, HP, Adobe, Macromedia, ect.. ect...
Were their vision has to become your vision, at a nominal fee of course. Independent developers are forced to produce quality shtiz0r, just to have a change in the market place.
