the ASUS is the one im lookin at gettin - in teh atomic mag it got 8/10 becaseu teh speakers are shit (who cares - i want a good monitor, use headphones anywayz) and the buttons were hard to use and the default colour settings need to be changed to make it better (too much blue i think). thats all that was wrong with it. it was th only monitor to get all 0-255 gray scale (awesome for dark maps and very bright ones) acer equiled it but had cheap build and poor eye candy and was about 5-250 gray scale but about $80 cheaper by th mag. i can not remember samgung's benchmark, it was about 2.5 weeks ago - ask sirro, it was his mag

**Widescreen is great for UT, gives you more FOV. Also, I got a 8ms response and it does just fine. Anything under 12ms is acceptable.

Yeah the Benq FP241W looks pretty good. There is a newer version with "black frame insertion" to reduce ghosting called the FP241WZ - apparently according to Benq Australia they won't sell them here (I rang them earlier this month).

Here is a good review of 24inch monitors if anyone is interested: http://www.bexox.com/showdown.htm

Some friends who have bought the Asus LCD have complained that they have a really poor dead pixel policy compared to other companies.
