I won't be playng this if it remains in the condition it's in.

I like a challenge in my gameplay.

Ut3 is a spam fest for the blind.

Everyone was running around bumbing into each other like fucking Lemmings....

I was having fun when I played the bots.  Though I did start to get a bit bored playing real people and getting anihliated by god knows what as soon as I spawned.  No death messages?  And no names above the players heads is stupid.  All those things can be fixed though.

I suppose I'm undecided at this point.  Warfarce vctf etc probably has more potentional than deathmatch at this point, the vehicles seem to be improved.  I suppose the big test will be to see how people adapt (or not) to the movement.   As much as I love ut2k4, I don't want to fall into the trap of comparing the two and not giving the game a proper go.  

There's always the modding community who might make some sensible changes.

mmmm.. Been playing most of the day and apart from the game turning off my monitor when ever it feels like it, my mind remains unchanged....

When you get damaged, the screen goes all "horror" movie like, making sure you got no fucking idea were you just got owned from:





The shock combo, left overs from a B-Grade hollywood film... big and ugly, but frankly, uselesss.. I kept hitting folks with it, they just laughted at me...




Then this f00king tripod thingy, hammers me down.. ffs.. took me 10 minutes to find it, talk about camaflouge.... ffs... can't see it untill it rips you apart... Fucking kool to drive one thou, very kool.. i do like this baby... you can climb buildings and get on rooftops, cross water, fire, etc...... neat...




Next the most useless weapon in the game, the bloody sniper... not only does it look crap, it is crap... grrrrrr




This game should be called "Lemmings 2007"... not only that, it's very tiring, look at how all these players have a wee lie down.... kool... (I'll find a better pic to demostrate the "Lemmings" effect)




Last but not least, I have been aleady called a HAXOR... I got 12 headshoots and no deaths, I must be hacking.....





The game might sux, it might come and go, but the Oz Ut community, will always be wonderfully retarded.

i'm not the only person with FPS issue http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=578983    most of those people posting there have some decent setups an get low FPS, so i will install/play again once it is fixed.

Headshoot hitbox size.... very big....

So let me get this straight... you killed the LG, cause it was overpowered hitscan gun...ok... but the headshoot box in Ut4 is tiny, making it very hard to get one....

So they kill the LG, replace it with a piece of shit sniper and double the hitbox size........


Ok I can follow the logic in that...... ffs....

Overall, this launch is a disaster, and at this rate, either the full release will get pushed back 5 months, or they'll be releasing ut2008 in a year.

i FINALLY had time to have a game this arvo with r@ge and 2k

it took me a map to get used to not being able to dodge-jump. it is going to take me an age to get used to the slow weapons (flack and rocks move very slowly). i remember when they changed the volocity of the flack fron ut03 to ut04 took me a while.

goo is THE weapon followed by mini, rock and shock

its a new game. think of it as a completly new game with copy right infringments on weapon and character names

sounds like a piece of shit indeed... haha and you all went out and spent money on a comp just to play it mwahhahaha

I was honestly looking forward to this release i really was....i was pLANNING TO COME OUT OF RETIREMENT  and getting back into ut in a BIG way ...i really really was...........my new machine is on order as we speak and everything ffs...........

its like i been suked into a time warp and it 1999 all over again.

UT3 feels EXACTLY like the original UT (UT99) and fuk I HATED UT99  !!!

na it's different, but it ain't no Ut4... I still hate it... actually I find it very boring after a while.... kinda dumb and pointless....


But if there's one thing I have noticed, the new MINI, will be THE weapon of choice, this WHOLE game will degrade into a total and complete mini fest..... it's a joke, Druzilla and me, last night, were pulling down Raptor after Raptor with it, one after the other they fell....

And in DeathMatch, "Winners Use Minis"

My reconmendation to Epic is to permenantly delete it for ever.....


but still, play it a bit online, it is different to ut99.....
