If your concious allows, you could try and sell it for a couple hundred to an old person that knows nothing about computers.  The only thing worth keeping would be the Hard Drive, but 40gb is a little on the slim side these days.  You'd probably just fit UT3 - the full version on - and have absolutely no room for anything else.  

You'd be better off throwing it off a tall building.  I've heard that's very satisfying.  


Forget a job.  It'll be a lot of hard work for very little return.  

Put all your energy into harassing your parents.  Tell them how much a computer means to you, cry if you must.  Then offer to combine Christmas, and your next three birthdays.  Tell them Jesus would have wanted it that way, and by the time your next birthday rolls around I guarantee they won't have the heart <i>not</i> to buy you something.  

If that fails, you could offer to do chores over a long period of time.  That's what I did when I was younger.  I'd draw up a card that said: "50 free lawn mows" and then have 50 little boxes that can be ticked off, and sell it to my parents for $500.

Do the first three or four mows, then find the card and throw it out.  When they say they can't find it, tell them it's not refundable and you need to see the card before you can start work.

Is your Dad in politics?  You could always say your girlfriend is pregnant and you need money for an abortion.
