Forgot to post it, but yesterday (tuesday) crysis arrived n was released, earlier than expected. Now i'm not sure if u guys in ur big fancy cities already had it, but for it to be released ahead of time here in Cairns is truly shocking to me, so yeah, i'm happy!

Thing is, can't play it yet cause the FAT TURDS FROM GAMEDUDE have fuked my order so bad my remaining parts for my new pc still haven't arrived, so i'm sort of stuck in limbo....

And after chatting to evenflow he sort of lowered my hopes - he told me that after the awe of the graphics wears off, the gameplay becomes very repetative. Now i don't know if hes talking bout experience from the demo, or from the full retail version, but if it was the full retail then that means that it got released there early (damn NZ bastards, no offence azzie ) Still, he did say u can blow up just about anything, including trees, which sounds like more than enough to keep me entertained for days on end.....

Has any1 else got/getting crysis? if so, please tell me its good...... this game, coupled with ut3, r the 2 main reasons i went through with the pc overhaul....

I played the beta demo, and as a result cancelled my pre order.  The multiplayer felt just like FarCry, buggy, tiny, light...and yes I see where his repetative comment come from.  It would happen.  The whole Campaing thing would get repatative.

I don't play single player so there is no reason for me to get it now.

That being said, I reserver my final opinion when and if they release a final Multiplayer demo, either that or I wait to get it when and if I get bored with UT3.

But yeah, not impressed with MP, I held high hopes too.  I even made a post in here somewhere that it could be the next big thing.  But seriously....no way.  TeamFortress2 shits on Crysis's MP mode, that a game worth playing...for a few hours every known and then.

Well, i'll just have to wait and see - unlike many of u guys, i still really enjoy a good single player experience, which is why i really enjoyed games like Neverwinter Nights 2 and Bioshock, so maybe there's still hope for me yet.... i wasn't actually buying crysis for the mp content, thats what i'm gettin ut3 for...  :koolyeah::

Well I think in that case Crysis will be the best single player experience hands around at the moment hands down.

I am being honest there.  Bioshock SP was pretty good, Stalker was rad and I think Cyrsis will be the ants pants!

Yeah, i really liked Bioshock, very interesting concept, story, abilities and setting, and as for Stalker, i have never played it, but i found out it comes bundeled with the new motherboard i've ordered. So it should for $445 lol.
Thing is, i'm still waiting on my parts, so had it come on time i would have had a chance to try it out, but now with this flood a games coming out these holidays it will just have to wait!

Played the demo and didn't like it - didn't buy it.
