Expect perhaps 2 more patches, including the v1.2 and then nothing. The ride is over.

Mark Reign clearly stated in numerous pre-release interviews that the PC was their BREAD AND BUTTER.

It was a lie to make us feel unforgotten. We believed it and most paid over 100 dollars for the it.

Why was it a calculated lie? Because any farken moron with half a brain can see that Ut3 is a 100% console port from the word go.

The fucking arrogance is overwhelming.  Their quoating these huge sales figures for Gers of War as the main reason they are now going console. In contrast to the sales figures of Ut3 on the PC.

Political double talk.  They did NOTHING to promote Ut3.

NOT ONE FUCKING ADD any were in contrast to the blanket saturation of the Bioshock, Crysis, Half Life 2, COD4, Gears of War, Lost World, Assassins Creed, Wii, etc......

You never got anywere behind this product, you released a broken fucking game. and now you turn around and say, ohh it din't sell well. Were now going fully console...  I mean can you blame us.. huh can you...

I actually played battlefield online for about 2 hours. 2 hours of getting killed by players I never SAW. 2 hours of camping, waiting for an attack, only the bastards are conquering the other end of the map, attacking our backs. 272 ping and packetlag didn't help either, but...

I actually fired up Quake 3 the other day.

Still looks great and the weapons are cool.  Coming from 2k4 the movement felt a little bit too 'pure'.  With not even a dodge to spice things up, just the strafe dodging which is basically bunny hopping.

Other than BF2, I can't really see anything around that I would enjoy playing online other than UT3.  If I can't get games on UT3 then I may as well start playing single player games.

I aint giving up on UT3 yet....when I get a fucking chance to play it or any other PC game for that matter.

Ut2oo4 can be brought back up at anytime. But for a server fee of 50 dollars. It's still there, just turned off from the box.

Ut2oo4 is still the best FPS out there by a fucking mile...

Ut3 is worth it alone for the editor, it's fucking awesome. i've just finished the tutorials on the DvD and it's so good. I made a map out of it. Finishing the bot pathing now. I'll post it when i'm finished.

If you just follow the Map Construction Tutorials, step by step, you can make a playable map in a few days.

This editor is much more then a game/map editor, the things I'm discovering with it are farken amazing.

If we really wanted to, we could make a fully palyable MOD within a few weeks. A completely different game, featuring the models/enviroments from Ut3.

All that is possible. And there are like 10 dodgejump mutators floating around (if it kept some of the grounded feeling ut3 has, it would be good). There's a dozen warfare Orb tweaks .... does that need tweaking, haven't played that online yet.

I know enough about uscript to open up packages and look at the weapons and vehicles. Tweaking the properties of the Stinger and Manta would be easy. Getting the game to use them would be a bit harder, but there are many coders that know that.

Things I would do is make Stinger less powerful (or less accurate), Manta have less turning speed, less acceleration, and actually louder (more likely to be knocked back too). Personally, I'd tweak flak grenade (I cannot hit anybody with it, except myself), Rocket grenades (they are Useless), Bio primary (useless), more linking range on linkgun. Everything else is perfect imo.
