anywayz, im about to connect a phone with optus until they said the only service they could provide me with is wireless, which is cool as there is no such thing as interstate calls, etc buttttt...

teh internet connection would be wireless at 3gig/s. which will do, but will the latancy be too high???

should i just bite teh bullet and go (dare i say it) telstra????

dunno.. dun't have wireless, never have....

But I know it lags.. dunno if 3Gb is enought thou....



personally i would go with a cable landline of some sort...

gades has wireless connection and he changed his name to lag master do i have to say any more?

It sounds pretty dicey in terms of random interference and bad ping.  But then again, if you have no choice, I would get it.  No westerner can live without the internet these days.

What dark corner of the globe do you live in to only have access to Optus?

i will go telstra phone and TSN (they are teh only peeps with adsl2 in da area) for da internet

I wasn't wireless. My router was.

Gonna have to get my freaking phone back on man ...... but I've been too busy replaying ut99. Heh.

Wireless = ADSL access and Wireless WAN.

WiFi = wireless network LAN and wired WAN.

Australia hase WiFi and Wireless totally confused.

A mobile phone is a true Wireless device.  A cordless home phone is a WiFi device hooked into a wired network.
