Kill the rich, crush them and eat their bones!

Post by gämmö »

Fucking cunts:
Can you imagine a time when a government cuts income tax but, rather than making sure everyone knows about its generosity, tries not to draw attention to the fact? That time is today. You could be forgiven for having forgotten, but from today we'll be getting tax cuts worth up to $41.35 a week.

So why on earth would the Prime Minister want to keep us in the dark? Perhaps because only the 2 per cent of income-earners on more than $180,000 a year will get that nice little surprise.

Most of the 90 per cent of workers on incomes less than $80,000 a year will be getting a cut of just $2.88 a week - not even enough for a milkshake, let alone a sandwich - save for those earning between $35,000 and $64,000, who'll get a princely $5.77 a week. The 8 per cent of workers on incomes between $80,000 and $180,000 will get between $2.88 a week and $41.35 a week.

Now perhaps you see why the Government hasn't been keen to trumpet the good news. In terms of dollar savings and - more significantly - as a proportion of income, these cuts are biased heavily in favour of high-income earners.

Although the Treasurer, Wayne Swan, boasted that his budget in May was "very Labor", that hardly describes his tax cuts - which isn't surprising considering they were designed by the Liberals. As you recall, the former treasurer Peter Costello popped up at the start of the 2007 election campaign and promised another three years worth of tax cuts, but Kevin Rudd lost little time in pinching the Liberals' policy.

But however profligate or piddling you find this week's tax cuts, be sure to savour them because they're likely to be the second last you see for a long, long time.

That this week's cuts are either piddling or unfair is only one reason for Rudd to be ashamed of them, however. The other is that they're now quite inappropriate to the radically changed circumstances we find ourselves in following the global financial crisis.

It was irresponsible of Costello to promise a row of tax cuts three years into an unknown future. And it was just as irresponsible for Rudd to match him. A case of counting your budget surpluses before they'd hatched.

We now know those projected surpluses have disappeared in a sea of red ink. Once Rudd saw we'd be pulled down into the global recession, he realised tax cuts weren't the way to go. Rather, what we needed was big one-off, flat cash bonuses, aimed at those most likely to spend them and paid out within a few weeks. When the severity of the global recession had become more apparent by February, he announced another round of cash bonuses, taking the total cost to $22 billion. The success of those grants in bolstering consumer spending is now clear for all to see. But having correctly judged that cash grants were superior to tax cuts, Rudd should have abandoned the two remaining but now redundant tax cuts.

Full Story Here:
http://business.smh.com.au/business/tax ... -d3q7.html

The bit I don't understand, well I understand that political parties will manipulate anything and everything they can to win favour and further their own interest and considering that 99% of politicians are rich and most millionares, it's easy to understand why they favour such tax cuts, because it is they who are the rich ones, so it's a given that self serving interest dominates politics.

ie; DOZENS of MPs will be given a $77.55 a day meal allowance for simply turning up to work, under generous changes to politicians' living allowances.

We all pretty much know that and seem not to care, that we are constatnly been ripped off, we actively support this behaviour, in fact by the way we react to such things, we encourage it to happen. Having said that, the bit i don't understand is were is the money?

I mean not less then one year ago the Howard Regime were claiming that they had delivered Australians the strongest econnomy in our history and that we were rolling in the money, like never before, all thanks to him and to him alone. The massive budget surplusess that his lapdog, Costello touted with his usuall arrogonce, were splattered across the headlines, touting them as economic and political visionaries and heroes.

Remember when he delivered his last budget, his head had lodged itself so far up his own arse, they you could pipe music throught it. Boasting over 29 billion in surplus cash, (Adding the previous 9 or so budgets he delivered and you can rake up nearly 80 billion in surplus cash) bodly going were no tresuarer had gone before.... even further up their own arse....

May I ask were that money is now?

Would also like to ask:

Were is our health system?
Were is our education system?
Were is our infrastructure?
Were is our unlimited Broadband?
Were is our manufacturing sector?
Were is our Mabo legislation?

There is many more questions, many, many more......

::rolleyes::

dude i think you don't fully understand what is really going on... the Aboriginals don't want you money, the white man you vote for does. They don't want your angst, (But they seem to be getting it) wich is a result of the white man stealing from your pocket and the consequences of living it up on the white man's terms.

Perhaps this will help clarify the argument a wee bit;
Under cover of racist myth, a new land grab in Australia

Claims of child abuse are proving a fertile pretext to menace the Aboriginal communities lying in the way of uranium mining

October 26, 2008

By John Pilger
Source: The Guardian

John Pilger's ZSpace Page
Its banks secured in the warmth of the southern spring, Australia is not news. It ought to be. An epic scandal of racism, injustice and brutality is being covered up in the manner of apartheid South Africa. Many Australians conspire in this silence, wishing never to reflect upon the truth about their society's Untermenschen, the Aboriginal people.

The facts are not in dispute: thousands of black Australians never reach the age of 40; an entirely preventable disease, trachoma, blinds black children as epidemics of rheumatic fever ravage their communities; suicide among the despairing young is common. No other developed country has such a record. A pervasive white myth, that Aborigines leech off the state, serves to conceal the disgrace that money the federal government says it spends on indigenous affairs actually goes towards opposing native land rights. In 2006, some A$3bn was underspent "or the result of creative accounting", reported the Sydney Morning Herald. Like the children of apartheid, the Aboriginal children of Thamarrurr in the Northern Territory receive less than half the educational resources allotted to white children.

In 2005, the UN committee on the elimination of racial discrimination described the racism of the Australian state, a distinction afforded no other developed country. This was in the decade-long rule of the conservative coalition of John Howard, whose coterie of white supremacist academics and journalists assaulted the truth of recorded genocide in Australia, especially the horrific separations of Aboriginal children from their families. They deployed arguments not dissimilar to those David Irving used to promote Holocaust denial.

Smear by media as a precursor to the latest round of repression is long familiar to black Australians. In 2006, the flagship current affairs programme of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Lateline, broadcast lurid allegations of "sex slavery" among the Mutitjulu people in the Northern Territory. The programme's source, described as an "anonymous youth worker", was later exposed as a federal government official whose "evidence" was discredited by the Northern Territory chief minister and the police.

The ABC has never retracted its allegations, claiming it has been "exonerated by an internal inquiry". Shortly before last year's election, Howard declared a "national emergency" and sent the army to the Northern Territory to "protect the children" who, said his minister for indigenous affairs, were being abused in "unthinkable numbers".

Last February, with much sentimental fanfare, the new prime minister, Labor's Kevin Rudd, made a formal apology to the first Australians. Australia was said to be finally coming to terms with its rapacious past and present. Was it? "The Rudd government," noted a Sydney Morning Herald editorial, "has moved quickly to clear away this piece of political wreckage in a way that responds to some of its own supporters' emotional needs, yet it changes nothing. It is a shrewd manoeuvre."

In May, barely reported government statistics revealed that of the 7,433 Aboriginal children examined by doctors as part of the "national emergency", 39 had been referred to the authorities for suspected abuse. Of those, a maximum of just four possible cases of abuse were identified. Such were the "unthinkable numbers". They were little different from those of child abuse in white Australia. What was different was that no soldiers invaded the beachside suburbs, no white parents were swept aside, no white welfare was "quarantined". Marion Scrymgour, an Aboriginal minister in the Northern Territory, said: "To see decent, caring [Aboriginal] fathers, uncles, brothers and grandfathers, who are undoubtedly innocent of the horrific charges being bandied about, reduced to helplessness and tears, speaks to me of widespread social damage."

What the doctors found they already knew -- children at risk from a spectrum of extreme poverty and the denial of resources in one of the world's richest countries. Having let a few crumbs fall, Rudd is picking up where Howard left off. His indigenous affairs minister, Jenny Macklin, has threatened to withdraw government support from remote communities that are "economically unviable". The Northern Territory is the only region where Aborigines have comprehensive land rights, granted almost by accident 30 years ago. Here lie some of the world's biggest uranium deposits. Canberra wants to mine and sell it.

Foreign governments, especially the US, want the Northern Territory as a toxic dump. The Adelaide to Darwin railway that runs adjacent to Olympic Dam, the world's largest uranium mine, was built with the help of Kellogg, Brown & Root -- a subsidiary of American giant Halliburton, the alma mater of Dick Cheney, Howard's "mate". "The land grab of Aboriginal tribal land has nothing to do with child sexual abuse," says the Australian scientist Helen Caldicott, "but all to do with open slather uranium mining and converting the Northern Territory to a global nuclear dump."

What is unique about Australia is not its sun-baked, derivative society, clinging to the sea, but its first people, the oldest on earth, whose skill and courage in surviving invasion, of which the current onslaught is merely the latest, deserve humanity's support.

None of you white fellas have suffered so or have been disspossed of what is rightfully yours... ohh wait, but we are been disspossed, every single second of the day we work for corporations. We are onwed and gorverned by corporations and we obey their law, we can't even respect ourselfs, we poison ourselfs, with our very own pollutents (Cars, Plastics, Pesticides, Food we eat, Alcohol, tabacco, drugs, etc... our lifestyle is toxic) we can't even own our own (Stolen bit of land) for up to 35 years, because a few banks say you have to pay everyone else (The elite) first.

What the fuck has our way of live got to do with the black owners of this land? How have they made our life miserable?

I mean.. what, the consequences of our lifestyles has something to do with the Aboriginals? (The oppressive capatalist all consuming society) We exist here because we stole, took and raped by force everything from them. How can we be sore at them?

They have given us EVERYTHING they ever had, everything they ever needed, everything, every single fucking thing, they had, we have taken, by brutal, totally brutal force.

Is it about money we perceive they are taking from us? Corporate tax loops, perks and wheeling and dealing, are stealing MORE money straight out of our labour, then any black man has ever taken.

Politicians are riding a gravy train until they die, they are ALL millioners. wtf???? They are scaming us, lying to us, manipulating us, exploiting us and ultimately taking huge massive wet and runny shits on our heads, on an ongoing periodical basis and we empower them by voting for them out of our own greed. That's the only reason they get elected is because they appeal to our greed, vanity, fear, etc...
oh qld have been spending tons on roads and such. tunnel etc. unskilled labourers are on $45ph no idea how much tradesmen are getting
But the age of OIL is over... why are we spending money on useless roads? To create a few short term jobs? Why not build electric railways, powered by our greatest assset, The Australian Sun. Are those roads been built by private corporations? To what purpose do they build roads designed for petro chemical cars, when the age of oil is so fucking obviously dead? Are those roads been made with shortcomings built-in, so as to generate more private wealth from tax payer capital, in the form of road extensions, lane widening, addon-packs, upgrades, etc.... That will no doubt be announced as aboslutely necessary for the good of the econnomy.

Have you ever asked yourself, why is it, I mean why exactly are we in Afghanistan? Who are we protecting ourselfs from? What are we defending? What is the true history of the conflict? What has any of this got to do with the Aboriginals of Australia?

I'll answer the last part; It has everything to do with the Aboriginals..... we don't now why we hate them so much, we have a vague idea why but don't really understand the truth of it, but we do know we have to keep them under our heal/control, by any means necessary.

Our society is a mess, our culture has been highjacked by corporate interest and ideology, we have turned into all consuming monsters. Our ecological footprint is the biggest in the world, the biggest in the world, my god are we as a culture become so arrogant, that we think we actually deserve to live the way we do, that it is our right!?

Have a look at ANY political speech from the last 20 years, and you will discover, that, that is just the exact thing politicians are saying; WE DESERVE IT!

Fuck man, this country will eat it self up before you know it, if we keep going like this. We are a fully sick consumerist society, we only believe in shopping. It is fast becoming a reality that Australians can not save themselfs from their own greed.

I challenge you to a duel mofo.... Since i can't get you onto a server to kick your arse.... lol... dispel any of my above arguments.

omg that is one rambling essay. i read some of it....pertochemical fuels are not really dead....pure ethanol. sugar ftw. id love to get my hands on that. great power and cheap fuel(even tho u need more of it than petrol if i remember right its 1+3/4..so nearly double) only need some minor modifications for my car...but your car however and every other joe blo = at least $1000 and the more expensive cars more again...and that price is cost price too....lol.

dont get me started on today's abo's. i do not paint them all with the same brush i have met and am friends with some, others hate the governments "sit down money" as they call it.but out here they are drunkards violent and thieves. when they can steal a car total it into a bus and the cops BARLEY slap them on the wrist....well what incentive is that?
NONE of these ones know or care of what happened in years past....and well nor do i. i was not involved i am not taking ANY responsibility for any abuse. are the Germans still paying the Jews? debts square imo.
1 set of laws for ALL aus not 2. 1 dole with the SAME requirements regardless of race.

racism should not be tolerated that knife should cut BOTH ways.

oh and as for the MP's making themselves rich. place them on their "tax threshold" wage and give them their tavel expenses and misc stuff like function hall hire n stuff. not food allowance they can fkkn make sandwiches with the rest of us. at the end of their term they can get some bonus...IF they did good! at least that way the money grubbers would fuk off back to the corporations and only people who truly care would do it...

You need to clear the rest of the worlds forest to produce Ethanol in the quantities needed to replace petrochemical stuffs... and while we grow crops for fuel in place of trees, the majority of the world starves to death. A solar powered car built from hardened chocolate will be a much better alternative, once you done driving, you can eat it.

Tell me how many cars you can do that with right now?

But you should be concerned withour past, it is the reason you are here. The lessons of history if forgotten will only repeat themselfs. Hence Howard's great drive as any politicinas great drive, to rewritte history in a more flattering way.

But we have destroyed the aboriginal people. We have shaped them into what they have become, we are forcing our way of life onto them and brutally ignoring their way of life wich sustained them and this wonderfull country for over 40,000 years.

How do you change in time, as you go throught life... as a result of your enviroment or as a result of free will? What if both are oppressive and force you to betray your cultural heritage, what will you become then?

There is an infamous experiment were a group of social elite are locked into a room, with no escape. As their food runs out and they relaliase the can't get out, they start to regress into primitive states and begin to eat each other alive. All pretense of formality , civility and righteousness disintegrates, giving way to barbaric primitivism.

You can't see how our domestic policy is doing that to the Aboriginals?

Consider, they had 40,000 years of an idealic, existance, with no white man techono bable. Suddenly we expect them to adapt to our lifestyle, under the hand of repression? In around 200 odd years....

Fuck it's taken us thousands of years to settle into what we are now.. don't see how they can do it in a fraction of that time, particulary with no precursors of any sort.

But if we did that to our polys were would be the incentive for these great talkers be, to run for office, is there a better way to gorvern ourselfs?

I have a suggestion, taken from a great science fiction book, (A Far Sunset);

The ultimate seat of power comes with the ultimate price. In this futuristic society a leader who takes up charge of leadership, is rewarded with death at the end of their term.

That immediatly wipes the ego from the equation as their is no gain to be had from abusing office for their own self interest, because once your term is over you can not spend the wealth you stole, you instead get to die in public.

I think that would fix a lot of our current political problems. ::hubbaBubba::

I said it before and I will say it again, the Intervention by the war criminal Howard and it's extension by the new Warlord Ruddless, was a blatant land grab.

We don't have a manufacturing base, we don't make anything anyone wants, we depend exclusively on holes in the ground for our prosperity, we have no future without holes in the ground.

Therefore it is by simple logical deduction that we need to exterminate Aboriginals as fast as we can, and that is what we a exactly doing, at the speed of light;
What a wonderful way of life we have, over in Afghanistan murdering innocent civilians, propping up a murderous dictatorship in the name of capitalism... errr i mean, democracy. We stand tall and proud with our tax dollars, throwing stones from glass houses.

Have i offended anyone... ohhh poor things.... yeah I know life is tough all over... lucky you're not black hey....

The government, and more importantly, the elites that constitute the real decision making bodies will need to be completely dismantled and restructured. None of this half-measure bullshit.

It's going to take enough common sense to demand a complete rethinking of role institutions play in society. There's no way these fat-cat cretins in politics are even going to step down or start demanding more stringent self-regulations. It goes against their nature, and the general nature of power to some extent.

Re: alternative fuels and technology etc. Has anyone seen the documentary on Jacques Fresco called 'Future By Design'? I'm almost in complete agreement with everything he says, and his ideas for the future are both practical and possible. Actually leaves you with some hope for humanity (assuming we could ever get our shit together).
