Yeah there's a big... BIG difference... not visible on the surface... it's under the hood.... the Te has crap under the hood.. the n52 is a sleek killing machine with the most powerful programming available in any of these similar types of gadgets, including Logitechs craptacular efforts....
Trust me, when I say the n52 is a dream to use and the Te is a nightmare to use, all because they have different software engines under the hood....
I got a Te and gave it away just a few hours after trying it..... I needed two cold showers just to get the dirty feeling off me....
I'm already on my 4th n52 and going strong.....

i have both, both are great
turn the blue farken-look-at-me lights off with a switch underneath
remove the round knob on the up,down, left, right to control it better by pulling it off (yes it does come off)
change the mouse wheel to 1, 2 & 3 for more buttons =] (or what eva buttons u want)
now u have the ultimate gaming device for the left hand =D

Thinking of getting one of these. My keyboard (g15) is pretty flat, which means I have to arch my hand a bit to get fluent movement on the keyboard. The sloping hand rest looks like it makes sense.
Was going to go for the te (for the pretty colours), but might have to look at the older model now.

Hi Jazz
Mate, I used static ice and found links to the older version. So, I emailed and phoned 6 of the shops found. They all told me they should have been removed and updated. I think you will find it hard to find one.

Good luck

Yeah Australian suppliers are pathetic, just plain pathetic, bottom of the barrel stuff.... they only stock what sells, period, there is no choice nor variety...
You can alternatively get ripped off over here thou...
