Im just so over my current pc........intermittent lag just makes ut unplayable at times.........drives me fukin nuts.....
SO im gettin a new rig.....specs: Intel i7960 Cpu@3.20GHz, Nvidia Gtx470 1gb,Asus Mobo P6X58D Premium with usb 3,6gb Corsair 1600 DDR3 and Alienware OptX 23"Full HD LCD Monitor 3ms and 120hz refresh!!

Up the RAM to about 8GB and install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. It will run uT at lighting speed.
I have Nostromo n52 64-bit drivers if you need them.
I would almost suggest you install uT3 under Steam. That's what I have done and for some reason it seems to run better. (There is a post in these forums on how to install uT3 under Steam without downloading it all).
So long as you do not SLi or Crossfire uT3, it will run fine under Windows 7 64-bit.
Let go of XP because CliffyB has just finished a new game for Epic (BulletStorm) and it looks like an evolution of uT, but it's DirectX 11. So you need Windows 7 to run it properly.
