Hey guys, i wondering if you can give me some demorec from the server. I wish to make a frag vid. I think you guys play great and i want to do something in my spare time.

Hey man, yeah sure no problem.

But it helps if you have an idea of what demo you want. There are a lot of demos on the server, most are crap.

If you have a rough idea for the demo in mind;

Players > Map name > Time of game

The name format of the server for the demos is as follows:

Demo-NICOSONIC-Bambislayer-kAoS_2k-Volkmos-DM-Campgrounds-U3-Fix-2012_02_19-23_30_33.demo

So you can see from that, that if you can provide some info on the demos you want, it makes it easier for both of us to get the ones you want.

Also the kAoS server runs a few custom Mutators, therefore to watch the demos recorded form the server you have to make sure you have the same mutators installed in your system. If you have versions of them in your cache, they won't work, you need to have the corresponding mutators in your directory not the uT3 game cache.

So when you try to play a demo and it won't play, you need to go to your log file to see what is listed missing from your system, for the demo to play back properly, and then install it into your uT3 game directory.

So you have to post back here, what mutators are missing form your setup, so i can post them here for you and you can them install them into your uT3 game directory.

Sounds complicated, but only for the first 5 minutes... its a breeze once you understand how it all works.

Also to make good uT3 movies you need to use Rcam. For Rcam you go here:

Thanks for heads up and TIPS! I saved the demorec, but i found my log file to be mess with mapmixer, bunnytrails, comp scriptwarnings.................. fark!!!. It will take me some time to look through this mess. I'll post what I'm missing later......

Downloaded most mutators. But i got stuck on ServerAdverts and i get this message, Error: Package 'ServerAdverts' version mismatch

It would be great help if someone could look this up so i have same version.

There are no demos for that night, not any with Tri in them anyways.

You need to post more info relating to the demo in question and you need to post asap. (Like on the night of the game)

I have to empty the demos off the server every week. I can not keep demos on the server any longer. Which means I usually empty the server on Friday nights. (Cron Job)

Last weeks demos are all gone.
