Alrite i got usb adsl modem and wen i plug a 15 metre telephone cord into it works fine but wen i use the 3 metre cord to save having cord n shit all over my room it doesnt get a signal but works fine using the 15 metre line like wtf.. And yes there the exact same line just smaller in length

usb adsl = crappola...............................onboard LAN was invented for a reason...............USE IT!

yeah it sould also have an rj45 connection so get a crossover cable and set it up through that if u have a network already a second network card maybe or use the slowest machine an the network as a router
