well it seems u can teach an old dog new tricks . . . i have used a tracbal for gaming for the last 9 years . . . derro talked me into becoming normal & getting a mouse . . . i got a mx510 & guess what, i can actually use it BUT ONLY INVERTED! Presently playing 50% with tracbal & 50% with mouse but suspect only gonna take me bout week or so to use mouse solely. geez, took me 3 months to master tracbal!
anyways this old dog HAS learned a new trick

Love the mx510, much jealousy.

Here is a new trick as well...get off inverted. HOnestly, do as the pro's do and use a normal mouse setting. I love Derro, but just cause his "manhood" is inverted, dont mean he has to invert his mouse. ::haha::

so u saying derro is not a pro in any way, shape or form? i have specced him lots & thght he seemed a tight skilled player (obviously becos of the invert function ::haha::

) i also set my sensitivity to same a s derro (well 5 actually) & on invert it is primo!
sorry, wont be uninverting any time soon cos i get that bloody motion sickness from it but thanx Wakko for the encouragement ::cheers2::

None of us are PRO's in here. But im sureasshit they dont use inverted mouse settings. ::nono::

Derro is a fantastic guy and plays hard, but he is last person you should listen to to take mouse advise, right Derro? ::Shitstirrer::

If you wont good aim, you turn your mouse down as much as possible. For EG, mine is at 1.00 setting. Makes it easier to track the opponents movement and time thier landings. :kaospanwz:

na is cool, when i originally asked azzie about the trackball she told me she rolls it down to look up and vice versa..

soOoo theoretically if she was to use a mouse it would have to remain inverted ::STFU::

azzie i have gone from mouse sens 9 to 3 and no doubt my aim improved but i have lost sense of direction because i start hitting the mouse on the edge of my keyboard or phone due to the excessive amount of moving required when i want to do a volt face shoot volt face again, and whatever else by then i find i am lifint the mouse too often.. but its still good

i just finished speccing a duel & u cud tell by the speed of the movement of sight that both were using high sensitivity, albeit maybe toggled . . . awesome L33T control!

but u r of course right, gammo

. . . cool . . . i have used the mouse for 2 days & now i have taken the tracball outta circulation completely! . . . i am stoked cos had thght it wud take me ages. I started on 5 sensitivity now at 2.25 & find that it both handles the turning as well as being stable enuff for aiming . . . even got higher DM score than wud have otherwise (plus an exe clan member mentioned my improvement in game

). My actual dodge-boosting has suddenly come into play in a big way cos i can trun that 45 degrees with the mouse (so as to propel forward) far more easily than i cud with the tracbal. Tis truly allgood.

I apologise to all those peeps that told me my tracbal was holding me back and to whom i said STFU! Look out the rest of kAoS, here i come!

oh ok go easy, no more compliments, and thanks azzie i think ::duckusucker::

just once u get use to a type of aim you cant really go back, just becasue its infert up and down doesn't mean its going to make your gameplay worse, it might if u have been playing normal for 2 years then u try invert..

its just like the high reach fork lifts at work, similar thing, you sit sideways and you steer to the left to go right, hahahahaha, and i find it easy to drive, but then jumping back on a normal gas forklift it kinda throws u out..

think of it this way, your piviting the wheel in the direction your actully want the wheel to face so that it turns... its not all that bad really, just for some reason i started using it, on someones computer at one of henders and sirros lan parties, i dont kow who was using invert, but it was on it and i used it and got stuck
