life is precious and we should relish every minute of it!

well i woke this morning to a grey overcast day for a Sunday
chatting to my online friends was my 1st port of call
but i did not figure on the bad news i was about to receive . . .

a gaming friend i met back in UT2003 & who has since moved to Auckland
i knew late last year around Xmas that he has an operation for progressive melanoma
knew when he said that they had removed some gland mass that the prognosis cud never be good despite what he told me

well i been avoiding chatting to him lately . . . i just knew he had to be dying & i did not know how to broach it with him

well today, he told me he has 2 months :(
and the interesting thing he said was his 1st thght was that he wud not get chance to play UT2007!
however, this guy is handling things better than i wud have credited him for
making me feel bad for not taking each day as the precious thing it is for us
he has no regrets . . . i have plenty . . .

Tis a very sad day, 27 & going to go from the face of this earth forever in a very short time

i have opted to help out with doing all he wants to do & get done in his remaining time
cos he is a friend who i love & i wanna share every moment i can with him

anyway, we need to take the goodness outta our days & cradle it with care & love for we never know when we might lose it
i guess this is as gooda time as any to get rid of my harboured grudges . .

words of wisdom (and some homosexuality) from hender there...more often than not u lose some rather than win though..

well i have just heard that my terminally ill friend passed away peacefully, overnight :(

i learned more about life from him in the last 9 months than i have learned in the last 10 years of personal growth, counselling & therapy etc

farwell, my young soldier friend Noobiwan . . . the suffering is over, we shall meet up again . . . and i shall never forget the strength u gave me
