minor upgrade

Okies so mi frikkin sound blaster audigy platinum decided to shirt itself so im going out tomorrow to get me a sound blaster X-Fi Music Xtreme card and while im there im gonna get another gig of ram which l take me to 2 gig now ive only got a standard 60 gig hard drive and i thinking of upgrading .............my question is what do i get SATA? do I RAID a couple of them or what the fuk not sure never really put much thought into me HD can i run a combo of regular and SATA ie can i use my current hd as a dedicated swap file drive while i get two new SATA HDs say 120 gig a piece and raid those puppies up?

Help moi pls kk ta

RAID is BS

RAID sould only be done with scuz drives in a proper fault redundant enviroment with the proper hardware and I/o's to handle the data rates produced....

RAID for Home USer's is soooo BS....

Just get another drive...

better yet get a slab of beer a few cones..fuck da HDD...

PS: Creative are monopolising wankers and their cards ARE NOT the best.. thee jsut the best at flooding OEM sales and retail markets...

just get a single drive sata2.
as for ram are you going to use this computer for ut2007?
if not save your money you dont need 2 gig now.

yay thx ............i got a 120 gig western digital caviar drive .............yes i will most likely still be using this pc for ut2007 but the extra ram is for my music creation/dj/remixing stuff as is obviously the sound card............. ::rolloverDJ::

lol just pikced up a set of Logicrap X-530 5.1 speakers for 90 bucks brand new, 1 year warrant.. + a logicrak MX-510 for 40 dolla..

Electronic boghole is having a 50% sale at Roselands.. maybe uder stores.. dunno.... too stoned.. to care...

dey had latest gaems 50% off n G-7's der for like just on 95 dolla... but dey got less buttons den an MX510.. so i throw it against da wall..(fak dis!... BANG!....).... told them it just suddenly, unexpekteddly jumped up n tried to strangle me wid it's's taiol///... tail... ders wittnesesss.... man.. dey saw it alll.... little cunt had it coming....

OH yeah baby electronics boutique have been having a huge sale ........i got WOW for 40 buks logiteck USB headphones for 30(theyre awesome).........dont ask me why but i bought rollercoaster tycoon 3 ........omg lol im such a suker for a sale........
