The Italians won the World Cup.

There that's the joke, from the most theatrical and useless side in football to winning the World Cup.

The only saving grace they have, is that Monica Belluci is Italian, man uderwise i would disown you cry-babys in a second....

This years Wolrd Cup was 100% bs, in that Until FIFA introduce the IN the Box video Ref, I will most likely never wacth soccer again.

Had the Video ref been in force, i guraantee you that NOT one of the top 4 teams would of made to were they got.

Anyone who argues that that is not the case, please go back to wacthing Cricket so your brain does not hurt as much wen you walk out in the sun.

Whats more, Italiy is surrounded in a MASSIVE max-fixing allegations that INVOLVE THE MAJORITY OF THE PLAYERS THAT PLAYED IN THE WORLD CUP SIDE.

But Greece get banned by having politics involved.. ok sure, please FIFA point out to me were a politician in ANY country DOES NOT get involved in the winning feeling of soccer or sports in general. More to the point please FIFA point out to me when YOUR own agenda is NOT political, you fucking hypocripts, you deal/trade in many 3rd world coutrys, thanks to political corruption and your skillfull manipulation of such.

But now, macth fixing scandals, well that's OK...

Overall it's been a general disgrace, the soccerr overall was of a low standard and most of the good games came from the "small" teams doing it hard, only to have their chances stoles by bs referress and political and finacial FIFA MAFIA.

Go to hell but if you want my endorsement you are going to have to clean up your act FIFA, and make soccerr the beutifull game it really is, into just that, a money-free game..

Look just looked at how the Italian defender for 90+ minutes, grinded away at Zidane, for that time, he pulled, tripped, kicked, jabbed, elbowed, grabbed, pushed, punched, insulted and keep a constant stream of insults and phyco shit to finally make Zidane snap.... and get sent off...

By the way that the same defender that hammered the Aussie attack in the same way, and got a yeloow for his efforts....lol

as i said before i am not a sporting person but i cant for the life of me work out the "logic" by which the French operate . . .

i mean this guy disgraces his team without a thought for anyone but himself & the French PM says he is a hero . . . geez they said the same about the saboteurs of the rainbow warrior ffs!

I played soccer for 6 -7 years...sometimes Im embarrased to admit it with the pathetic girly tactics that taems like ITaly take.

Its an insult to the game, and an insult to the male gender.

Ok les do sum maths.... just to give youa simple idea of how FIFA is just like any other multy-national corporation, exploting every marging it can... any way it can...

The sexy new 2006 World Cup soccer ball, went on sale for around US$200 mark (To keep things simple we gonna round of numbers...)

so as reported by Time magize it's around 200 American dollars. The ball was made in a factory owned by some German Shoe Manufacturing Group, the worker that makes that shoe gets paid around 200 dollars a month for their efforts.

That's as far as Time magazine went.

But we can go further with little effort or knowledge.

On average that worker would make say, 100 balls a day (12 to 16 hour repetative labour shitfs, minimun)...

So we got this:

200 dollars a ball
100 balls a day 7 days a week
200 monthly wage

I won't bother with material cost, they buy by the cubic tonne, so the material over a large production run, with these sort of margins becomes negligeble. (Of course [they] calculate this to the very degree of rocket science, no bean goes uncounted).

So yearly totals start to look like this;

100 balls x 7 days x 365 days = 36,500 balls in one year.

200 wages per month x 12 months = 2,400 dollars in wages

200 dollar RRP x 36, 500 balls = $7,300,000 dollars

7.3 million - 20,000 in Overheads for that run = $7,280,000

So in all approximation let's round it all off to $US7.1 million dollaars profit, from the labours of ONE uneducated, problably UNDERAGE worker.

Not bad bussiness hey... while we cheer Italy (And all the other teams) and it's Oscar nominations, people are getting teh very blood sucked out of their collective by CORPORATIONS we CREATE, ENDORSE, SUPPORT and WHORSHIP.....
