If your movie is any good 2k it might give me some incentive to actually install Ut2004
Will ben working on it too long now. but all the time i put in to this one is 100% enjoyment for me and yet is the best one I made so You will be the judge wen is ready..
Both 2k and me are keeping work-in-progress blogs over at RypelCam, well more so me then 2k, he dun like typing unless it involves rockets been fired.....
Anyways, if you go there you will see an up to date account of how far we ahve come in our current movies, etc... along with lot's of tips and shit for getting it done...
and you can leave your comments on there as well.... dat is much appreciated... ya!
So go over to the StoryBoards section on RypelCam and check them out.....
The effects and editing in your last movie were good and no doubt you and Gammo have found new ways to make even better effects. Looking forward to it.
BTW 2K I read your blog on the Rypelcam site - if you have Vegas and/or Adobe you can actually batch load each dumpframed image directly into these programs and edit them from there w/o having to go thru Virtualdub and create an uncompressed AVI.
Nice work on the Rypelcam site - looks like you guys have put a lot of effort into it. It'll be interesting to see what new features will be natively in UT2007 to help with frag movie creation, i.e. rip off a few (or maybe all?) Rypelcam's features. Hopefully there will be a timeline feature. It suxs having to wade thru long demos only to miss the bit you wanted and have to go thru it again.
I suspect Epic deliberatly leave out cetain things, the community picks up on this.
It makes sense, keeps people interest in it. Personnaly I do not want Epic to use anything from Rcam. They can improve the timeline features an a lot of other bugs.
But Rcam is Rypel's baby and not even Epic understand it the way he does.
