IR Reform: (The one to boost the economy and strengthen Australian Jobs and raise the bar on our living standards)

FUCKING INDIANS!

-------------------------------------

There ya have it. You have all been warned. That is the shape and outcome of the upcoming federal elections.

Howard will play the FEAR, RACE, MUSLISMS card. And subjectively ignore everything else, making reference only when public opinion wants to be lied to again.

13 billion dolla surplus (Wich is all tax by the way, we Aussies really need to wake up) and our health system has fallen to 2nd world standards and our education is ranked as one of the lowest in the world. But deficit is still over the half a trillion dolla mark, 20 million individuals have ranked up the second biggest deficit in the world second only to our heros America. Don't ask why, just say; Well done.

Labor will follow suit.

The rest of the political parties in Australia are nothing more then a sick fucking joke. Your votes to these smaller parties get deferred to the big 2. Thus your right for your vote to count ONLY for who you voted is turned into political gain based on backroom wheeling and dealings between these parties as they sort out their beds to lay in.

It's called English democracy. Were chooice is replaced by conjucture.

All the little cock-sucking arguments that they throw at you are nothing more then diversions from the trump card:

MUSLISMS

The past has written the future and that future is TERRORRISM.

Get used to it Australia, it is after all your wish that this be so. Is is not?

Did you not support John Howard's invasion of Iraq. Yeah you know that pesky Iraq, were those infedels just won't lie down and die.

This is costing us a LOT of money, it's about time you just died already!!!

Who the hell do you think you are? Iraq belongs to us, we own you, you have no significance and are of no importance, you stand in our way for true democracy, justice and the right to drive 4 WD's in city streets, while our air conditioners keep our Mc Mansions nice and koollllll.......

The British General who yesterday declared Brittish troops are going to be pulled out, because we are MAKING IT FUCKING WORSE AND WORSE EVERY SECOND WE ARE THERE. Will no doubt be branded a synpathiser and prompty deported to Afghanistan were he will be shot in the mass confusion, off posing for pictures holding weapons and looking the part.... They will call it suicide. And have his body dumped back in England by a 3rd party transport company that got the contract on the lamb.

Woah.. and i thought I had it all wrong.....

Go AUSSIE...AUSSIE...AUSSIE...AUSSIE....

I think it's time we faced the reality that we have NOT been good citizens of the world and that it's about high time we cleaned up our narccissitic little agenda, stop behaving like the rest of the world ows us something and try to make the future a better place for ALL the children of the earth, not just a select few corporations.

In these upcoming federal elections voice your discontent. Throw red paint at the major political parties, engage in civil disobedience, take a chance, your kids will respect you for the rest of time.

Ohh and this notion that Aussies are Stateman.

Please get over yourself, really, you don't even know what that means. There's an old saying:

BABY NO CRY... BABY NO GET MILK!!!

Revolutions/change do not start at the feet of Stateman, they start at the feet of the madding crowd.

Vote with the future that is equal for all, please do not vote for your own self gain.

Yeah I know, that's very Un Howard, but what can i say, my son is deserving of my actions not my weekness to stand up and be counted.

PS:

I have to say this, cause it literally blew me the fuck away:

Ruddock supports cohersive torture to extract information.

I had to read that twice, really. This is a person that is closest to Howard and this is the poeple that govern us. You have lost your way Australia.

Most people could not give a fuck about hicks, they are so confused about that particular situation that they reserve no opinion or worse yet a biased one based on a mass of contradictory information.

I'm sorry Mr Hicks. I hope you have your freedom soon and that you will not hate us all for waht a few individuals have do to you. We are not all against you. Have strenght.

I would take it as a conclusion from that, that Mr Hicks is indeed one of the worlds MOST DANGEROUS individuals. So dangerous that if he were to make contact with the outside air, the world will erupt into a huge ball of apocalypse.

Just like the movies.

They all suck.

Labour was is not alone in what has happened to NSW. For example look at the BIG tax cut Abbot & Costello gave us. Or did they?

They tied it in to the Private Health care system. In other words, it benifited more those who have Private health Insurance, then those who do not have it. How?

You need only look at the geographical distribution of private hospital beds in NSW. Then you get the picture.

i don't remember the exact figures, but it was in the vecinity of... Western suburs (Labout Strongholds)... 50 or 70 beds, the north shore (Liberal Strongholds) 350+ beds.

You see it now? It's kinda hard to justify that the tax cut benifits the rich and fucks the poor, but hey they did, din't they, Australians shallowed it hoook, line and sinker, despite many critics of it. Yet here we are.

(No, you're not rich if you have Private health insurance, my point is that the scheme is determined by the geographical distribution of money. And the northshore is were the big money is, were the majority are rich and were thy vote for those that protect their monetary monopolies and interst... the liberal party).

Why is this 13 billion dollar budget surplus, not been spent NATIONALY on the things to strenghten all our lives and this country at the same time.

How do we have a 40,000 skilled worker shortage, weren't we the smart country? Wich industry blames goverment and vise versa, but we all know (Mr Reith I have not forgotten your yellow hide) that the Federal goverment pulled funding on apprentiships and skills training in amassive way in the last 10 years. It made it so the industry was not abliged to train workers, wich of course means speending money... hey we all know what's going to happen there don't we.... NO money gets spent, no one gets trainned.

Adn at the end of the day it's no ones fault but the workers.

I know let's offshore call centers to India and flood China with 457 visas... they won't need good english cause they are cheap labour slaves that geet booted out the second the visa runs out... and did i mention if the Visa has wage minimun requirements?

Well what do jooos think, does it?

Once apon a time we had political parties that were different.. now they are the same...

Boris Lemming is a clown of the stature of Bob Carr and just a big a fool as Peter Deban (or what ever his fucking name is)...

As soon as liberals get in they will do exactly the same, not one iota of difference... you only need look at the past.... It was the liberals that destroyed workers conditions, remember Greiner.. remeber that fucker?

I do.. i remeber him well, he told my union that we deserved shit instead of money.... I had a nice subby bussiness a bit later, regulated and all, they deregulated it n immediatly my bottom line was destroyed by unskilled, un guranteed work. No regulation, no license, hello cowboy land. i went broke at the mercy of an industry that successfully lobby goverment to deregulate it, under the condition it will regulate itself. Wich they did, instantly.

Ripped my bottom line and opened the industry to cowboys and sharks. I lost about 20 grand, not much... i made it back selling off my equipment to the very sharks that the new regime, let in. I'm not a walk in the park. What I did not recover was the money spent on meeting the regulatory standards so i could subby and the time involved and all the blood, sweat and tears that having your own bussiness brings.

Full circle as they say.

::cheers::

Bah while I'm at it, those pics Disko posted got me fucking fired up... ffs...

Nice to see Liberal give away the last of our national right to watch locally produced content on television, radio and movies.... Nice to give James Packer and dear Ruppert even more control over our ridicuosly weak media.

Our entertainment has been completely Americanised, and it stinks, I'm not a fucking American, i don't like fucking DODGE trucks... American beer taste like horse piss, i don't wear a baseball cap and army boots when i have sex, i don't use the word GUYS... I'm a FUCKING AUSTRALIAN I say BLOKES, FELLAS or something that has hair on it.

It's TOMATOE SAUCE NOT KETCHUP YOU RETARDS! I put a shrimp on my fucking barby not a McBurger! Fuck your ipod and i could not give a flying fuck about your twin towers. Get the fuck over it, Iraq's body count is past the 100,000 mark and they did nothing to you in the FIRST place.

HOW COULD they? You murdered 1 million Iraquies with 10 years of economic sanctions after the first muder war ur daddy did.... Sanctions from wich you, your allies and corrupt Iraqui polys PROFITERED from.

SO FUCK YOU

Should i add the body counts of every other state that has been decimated by Americans? This post would reach biblical proportions if i listed the dead.

Dead for the Greenback. Europe taught you well America be proud of the genecidal traditions they left you.

Don't get me wrong, I feeel for ALL the dead, even those Americans in the towers, no one deserves to be murdered, NO ONE. But let's not confuse the wood for the trees here.

And no i don't hate ALL Americans, just the idiotic 80% that watch FOX! ::haha::

Good to see government stripp funding off SBS and the ABC too and post their henchmen in both as board directors... nice stufff....

Fuck it.. really... the agenda is the same.... i mean can we seriously believe these dicks? How much money did they pay our old dictator friend Saddam? 300 million or so.. and they had no idea... ok sure....

Yeah i see as a nation we have things in perspective... spot on. Worse drought in... I dunno... ever... and the solution offered by our mighty leaders.....

We will move the farms to were the water is.

Jesus Wept, we should be a world SUPER MEGA DUPA POWER with the collossal magnitude of our politicians brains!

So much bullshit and so many subserviants.

We need a paradign shift, not another politician telling us the Gospel truth, that we know to be another fucking lie. Australia is loosing the ability to critise itself, and when you do not allow critisim, then there can be little change.

It is everyones patriotic right to question, not only the nature of political decisions but to critise them.

----

i'm registering ma own poly party called...

Wankers United

Together we will fuck you!

I think it will be quite popular..... at least we tell you up front that you will need Astrogel.

Mark my words, mark my words with the history they prevail:

Iraq is in total civil war, that is the single greatest truth right now. The country is been ripped apart and the coalition of the mudering is loosing control and will soon look for a way out.

AMERICA AND IT's ALLIES WILL LOOSE IRAQ AND THEY WILL LOOSE AFGHANISTAN.

Those lands belong to the people who are fighting for them, it belongs to the thousand years of culture bore out of that landscape and they will prevail over you and they will win.

Nothing you do to these people will break them, they WILL break you.

That's my point all along. Confusing the wood for the trees.

Not sure I follow your logic. You're looking at figures that are pie in the sky at best. Those figures mean nothing, they can be interpreted in a thousand different ways and any economist will tell you that they can be read and manipulated in a thousand ways.

Remember it's those figures been waved as a trump card. Therefore you should immediatly be suspect of them. That is the nature of democracy to question what it is before you.

Example what do those figures mean to me if a litre of milk is 2.50 more expensive then it was 10 years ago, but my wages have gone down 150 dollars a wek, under the new IR laws.

I mean you seen how much a kilo of tomatoes or potatoes is? Fuck, you'd think after eating them you would shit solid gold.

Please I truly struggle to understand the notion of a strong econnomy, if my real wages are lower then 10 years ago and the cost of living has gone way up?

In 1987 I was earning approx.... 850.00 a week working 45 hours on a major construction site. I was working as a labourer.

15 years later, those same hours have become nearly 60 hours to macth that same money. Wich i can't do, the tax rate is merciless.

I had sick leve, holiday pay, site entitlements, height money, travel money, clothes, work boots and helmet (Supplied), I had leave loading, danger money, was regualry treated to on-site barbys at the end of the month and within the site structure there was room for increased pay via promition, like Leading Hand (Wich I later got, getting an extra 56 dollars for my extra duties). We also got Super and long leave contributions to the tune of 100+ dollars a month.

The sites were i worked were regulary subject to safety inspections and clean up's to keep things clean and safe.

At the end of the year, we would receive a Site bonus calculated on the profit made by the builder and the progress of the site, it was usually around 5 grand, neatly protected from normal tax rates.

We also had a Site party on the last day. Followed by a full blown Christmas party at sum fancy club.

So everyone made money..

The Unios were strong, we all worked hard and the companies were obliged to do the right hing and if they din't we had the power to make ém.

That was yesterday, today there is nothing but a minimun wage and a huge line of willing servents behind me.

How am i better off?

............

they mean nothing to me, when we are actively murdering innocent civilians in at least 4 different countries right now.

They mean nothing to my son, when tomorrow he has to show a smart card to buy bread. After loading up on SPF +300 plus suncream.

They mean noting to me, when my dollar gets taxed approzimatly 10 times before it begins it's cycle again. (One of the main reason for those numbers)

They mean nothing, when my work conditions have detiorated to the point of life threatining. (Once apon a time employers were obliged to do the righ thing)

They mean nothing to me, when i can not turn on my TV and be able to wacth an argument presented in an objective way, so understanding is the goal and not be manipulated by self serving interst.

It means nothing to me, when the worlds oldest living culture is been systematicly exterminated from the country we stole from them with violence and force.

They mean nothing, when people are determined guilty before a fair trial and were the notion of Law is replaced by the notion of idiology.

They mean nothing when logic is replaced by rhetoric...

Example for that last one:

We will not sign the Kioto protocol because I do not want to weaken our economy.

.......

Tha's my point. We are not doing the right thing. No we are not. We are only looking after our own self interest. And what goes up comes down.

Those figures really don't stack up to much if we are not humble citizens of the world.

Its all relative i guess R@ge

at least back then you could buy a decent house for 150000 dollars NOW you need 450000 for that same place so interest rates may be lower but housing prices have SKYROKETED which is great if u own several properties but if your a young couple starting out in life buying a house these days is a pretty daunting prospect..........

There is much that needs fixing but they really do need to start on public health. There needs to be an effort to get our tax money and put it back into the public hospital system rather than blowing it on sporting events, dodgy arts projects and gold toilet seats for the MPs ensuites. When I see people waiting 10+ hours to be treated in emergency departments and some having to be transferred to other hospitals because of no beds - well something is screwed.

While they are at it, they can pass a law to make saying "terrorism" an offence punishable by public flagellation. Currently, terrorism = the "unseen" evil of an establishment funded and supported by the US government. It's just getting out of hand now.

Theres a flip side to everything i guess
look were we stand now under liberals.
interest 7.50%
but cost of housing quadrupelled
all time low unimployment
but workers rights have been destroyed.....no more unfair dismissal laws bosses can now sack u for so much as looking at them the wrong way.38 hour week has gone most people now work close to 60 hours a week.....for LESS pay ..penalty rates and loadings have been removed in most industries.Forced overtime for NO pay is a common thinbg now.Means less time spent with family something that u cant really put a price on.

we got a strong economy
-our social policy is in the garbage
Exports hit record high-
our IMPORTS are at an even bigger all time high and our manufacturing industry is all but destroyed because of removal of tariffs which protected local industry

From the second link;

But detailed bureau's statistics show that the average wage is far from typical. In fact, 62 per cent of full-time employees earn less than the average.

But prices have also soared, especially for many of the basic foods that have traditionally loomed large in the family menu.

Judging from data published years ago by economic historian Dr Peter Shergold, the price of a loaf of bread has risen faster than wages in the past 30 years, while the price of sugar and potatoes has almost matched wage growth.

A national survey last August found the most common wage for full-time employees was between $600 and $700 a week. Almost half earned between $400 and $900.

Excluding that workforce shift, the bureau estimates that workers, on average, have received much more modest pay rises, averaging about 3.5 per cent a year over recent years. Over the five years to 2003, the biggest rise in average earnings was in the finance industry, where the average wage shot up 42 per cent as the banks sacked thousands of low-paid tellers while paying high salaries to foreign-exchange dealers.

The lowest increase, surprisingly, was in the health sector, where average earnings rose 19 per cent as state governments took a hard line on wages, while hiring more low-paid staff.

By and large, older workers have enjoyed bigger growth in earnings than the young; employees in big companies are doing better than those working for small business; and managers are doing better than those at the bottom.

My wages have been cut by up to (on average) 150 dollars a week.

So exactly what is going on?

I thought we had a very strong economy?

So why do I have to suck a wage cut if bread continues to outgrow my purchansing power?

13 billion dollar surplus and our health system has sunk below 2nd world standards.

13 billion dolla surplus and our education system is ranked as uterly pathetic, compared to the rest of hte wolrd.

How can cuba send 300 doctors to East Timor, but we can only send soldiers?

I thought Cuba was a dirty commy state, tortured for the last 30 years by US led sanctions. Then how is it possible for Cubans to have a higher education standard then we Australians, surfers of the 1st world?

Cuba does NOT have a 13 billion dollar surplus. But in Cuba a childs education from start to finish does not cost over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!

If free-to-air tv is free, why is a license worth 1 billion dollars?

If our intent is to help democracy flourish around the world, why are we sending soldiers instead of knowledge and information to help those countries provide for themselves?

Let's come a bit closer to home and this whole thing I dribbled about deregulation. What is deregulation?

Essentianly it's the couter argument to "Protectionism".

wtf is that!?

Protectionism is often referred to as being a barrier to free trade. The word seems to conjure up negative images of isolationism and subsidizing industries that could otherwise not compete fairly against others. (This can help indicate why some industries would strongly support protectionism for themselves.) Complete deregulation allows corporations to benefit but at the possible expense of people in that nation or region if that deregulation means relaxation of environmental rules, health and educational services including control of natural resources and energy. (This hints at the powerful lure that the "freeing" of trade and liberalization of access to resources from regulation has to some proponents.) Neither seems to answer the notion of fairness, though. Often those nations that promote free trade for all, want protectionism for themselves.

mmm, all that sounds familiar.. no correction... LOOKS familiar, no?

This part here I'm very familiar with, so is our government:

Complete deregulation allows corporations to benefit but at the possible expense of people in that nation or region if that deregulation means relaxation of environmental rules, health and educational services including control of natural resources and energy.

Maybe that's why they want the Abo's all fucking dead and gone, there sitting on a lot of Uranium. Can we Australians live with that? Or more to the point; let's hope those fucking Abo's don't realize just what there sitting on, let the booze flow, let the unleaded fumes fill the air... let 'em swing from jail cells the fucking monekys.

Rio Tinto get richer and BHP continues to be the murdering babaric exploitative cunts they have always been.

mmmm we have adopted the American way of life, John Howard and who ever sits on the throne next wants us to align with the US, because it's the strongest, it's the biggest, it's a hard on.

Problem is, history speaks for it self:
It is yet another Civilized Power, with its banner of the Prince of Peace in one hand and its loot-basket and its butcher-knife in the other.

— Mark Twain, To the Person Sitting in Darkness, 1901, describing the United States playing the European-style imperialist game in the Philippines.

For globalism to work, America can’t be afraid to act like the almighty superpower that it is.…The hidden hand of the market will never work without a hidden fist—McDonald’s cannot flourish without McDonnell Douglas, the designer of the F-15. And the hidden fist that keeps the world safe for Silicon Valley’s technologies is called the United States Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps.

— Thomas Friedman, What the World Needs Now, New York Times, March 28, 1999. Quoted from Backing Up Globalization with Military Might

Is that what we want?

My point all along is:

Don't confuse the wood for the trees.
