ffs just spoke with my local eb retailer and they are expecting to have ut2004 in store on the 20/21 of this month

I been told by Electronics Botique that we are not getting Special Edition here because Atari have made the DVD region 1 only. :(
If that is true i will prob not get it at all cause i dun really wanna hav 6disc's.

I spoke to Atari today and was advised that Harvey Norman is the prefered reseller for UT2004 and will be getting the SE but the expected date would be 22nd

EB in Pitt Street stated that they will not be allocated with the SE version.

Gamesmen will be getting the standard version and not the SE

Gameswizard have no idea...

I was advised by EB to purchase the game from <a href='http://www.dvdboxoffice.com' target='_blank'>http://www.dvdboxoffice.com</a>.

I heard a rumour that ONLY 150 SE will be allocated to AU. Go figure.

Well thats Atari for you. For the last six releases they have ALWAYS stuffed it for resellers and consumers. Classic example apart from UT2004 was NRL theytotally blotched it, its Atari what can you expect.

Hey guys,

I have pre orded 5 copys of the SE from HN @ Auburn and have been advised that I should have them on the 19th if the SE was shiped with the standard edition. The official release date of the SE is the 26th!
So fingers crossed I should have them in time for this massive lan this Sat!!!
