Amazing work...

Post by gämmö »

Hi there

My name is Sanjay Chand and I recently graduated from Gnomon's CG Certificate Program. I enrolled in a Creature Development class that was taught by Alex Alvarez, and learned quite a bit in the process.

Below are various creatures I completed for the class. All of the models consist of a base mesh that was created in Maya. I then re-imported the level-6 or level-7 mesh into Maya from Zbrush (I have a 64-bit system so it can handle the poly count quite well). I then rendered everything with mental ray in passes, and then comped the final images in Fusion and then did some minor color and gamma adjustments in Photoshop
Then some dude asked him how much he paid to do the course....
i wanted to ask you how much u paid and how much you realy got out of it

The Certificate program costs around $45,000 (US) for 21 months. Id say it was worth it as I learned quite a bit.

The squid man looks insanely detailed.

He'll get back problems with that posture though.
