I've been farmed around the coutryside for a while due to work. I haven't had decent internet for ages. I've only been playing UT2K4 instagib botmatches every now and then. I've got UT3 but I just can't get into it for various reasons so I haven't fired it up in months.

FrontLines: Fuel Of War >> Kinda sux..... got bored in under 10 minutes....
Soldier Of Fortune (Latest) >> Worst game in history.. farken pile of shit.....
BioShock >> Retarded and pissed me off in under 10 minutes....
C0D 4 >> Racist and stereotypical yank propaganda... deleted it from my HDD in under 7 minutes....
Stranglehold >> Piece of crap with absolutely nothing to keep me there.. gone in under 9 minutes....
Crysis >> Lasted on my HDD for over 2 weeks had about 4 games...
Games I liked and still have installed:
TimeShift >> flawed but a riot of Fx and very kool sniper rifle... very kool.... (I get totally toasted on funny grass and play it.. just to watch everything go boooom!!!!!)
Colin McGray DiRT >> Awesome just plain awesome racing game... that I still can't master...
RaceGRID >> The lastets Racing opus from codemasters.. owns badarse.. spectacular graphics and Fx....
TrackMania Nations >> hardcore precision driving that my 5 year old boy kicks my arse in....
But i play Ut3 more then any other game, only cause of this clan and regular matches between ourselfs on our server, but more so the fact that I can yell, swear and insult my fellow clannys on Teamspeak everytime i get onwed.... :D
Ohh yeah and cause we're making maps for it as well... cause the stock Ut3 maps are as fucking ghey as ghey can fucking b......

I tried a whole heap of the "latest" games but nothing sort of holds my interest... Not in the same way as UT2k4 really...
Racing games are out, although give me a Wipeout clone and I'll be all over it (I play them on my PSP).
The "realistic" shooters are out - COD etc, the BF series suxs.
Played a bit of FEAR but too many problems online to enjoy it these days.
Don't like the WOW type of games.
No one plays Quake or UT2K4 anymore :(
I am actually hanging out for Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman for the PS3, mainly for the co-op play... yes laugh but I dunno, the Lego Star Wars sucked me and numerous other people in until we finished it - great game.
Looks like I might try reinstalling UT3 then... I want something to play online and I suppose right now that is all that's left that I might be able to get into if I try real hard...

Well, I just installed UT3 - patched, right to go.
FFS here is the dealbreaker with this game - as of right now, 9:35 PM Melb time, it says "Online Services are unavailable" when I try to log in.
I'm not alone since here is the "Official" forum thread: http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=613875
Though knowing how EPRIC run their forums it'll probably be deleted in like 10 mins.
There is no wonder this game just isn't cutting it... you can't seem to play it if "Gamespy" isn't working. Maybe you can but seriously, the game should just work. There is no excuse for this sort of thing to happen.

it's a broken, unfinished game that depends on Gamespy on getting their shit together and that only happens once every planetary aligment a century....

Just out of interest, has anyone released a mod/mut or something to make UT3 play/move like UT2K4?
I've found a dodge jump mutator but character movement still feels like a truck compared to UT2K4. Just can't seem to get the aiming like UT2K4 either...
