Dead HDD

Post by kAoS-jazz »

Anyone got any know-how when it comed to restoring data from a dead hdd??

Mine died last night (now just makes a clicking noise) and there's a few documents and a small porn collection that I wouldn't mind keeping.  I hear professional data recovery fetches something like $1500-2000 which is obviously out of the question.

Someone suggested I put in in the freezer.  ::cheers2::  Anyone tried this??
