New Site Features.

Listed here are some new fandangle features, installed on our site, along with instructions on how to use them;

First up is the magical ROKBOX, it will display any media type, including;

* Images: Links ending with .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .bmp
* Generic Videos: Links ending with .mov, .m4v, .qt, .mpeg, .divx, .avi, .xvid, .wmv, .wma, .wax, .wvx, .asx, .asf
* Video Sharing Services: YouTube (HD included), DailyMotion, Metacafe, Google Video, Vimeo, Simple .swf files
* FLV: Built-in FLV player using JW FLV Player
* Audio: Links ending with: .mp3, .wav, .m4a
* PDF: Links ending with: .pdf
* Local and Remote URIs

Instructions;
When making a post you will notice a new button called "roxbox="

When you click on it, this gets added to your post;

-[roxbox=][/roxbox]

--You put your URL to what ever media type you have between the 'roxbox=' and the ']'

-[roxbox=URL-TO-MEDIA-TYPE-HERE ][/roxbox]

--You then put a description/title to your linked content in the space between the ']' and '['

DO NOT USE FUNNY SYMBOLS IN YOUR DESCRIPTION, JUST PLAIN TEXT, OTHERWISE THE ROXBOX= WILL NOT WORK -->> REMEMBER PLAIN BLOODY TEXT!!!!

-[roxbox=] DESCRIPTION-TITLE-HERE [/roxbox]

--So it will end up looking like this;

That's it you're done. When ever you post a pic or movie please use the Roxbox, that's what it's for....

All these very nice features..appreciate it. Now, can you fix the board for me Mr Admin Why, well...if I click the flow and then say Electric Sheep ( I want to have a look at this screen saver jiggymabob) I get the following error:

No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame

So, pull your finger out of your doot or Ill keep pulling headshots on ya next time we rumble

Anything below 1920 x 1200.

It's a complicated explanation, basically the RoxBox opens up into the users screen resolution. So if you have your monitor set at 1600x1200 then RoxBox will open up into that resolution. IF it's set at 1280x1024 then the RoxBox will open into that resolution.

But it will NOT display quite correctly if the image is hosted outside the kaoshq.com domain. It's a security feature that can not be over written.

The simple solution is to upload your screen shots/pics into our very own http://subpics.datasub.net/x23/home file hosting site 'KAOTICA' also know as 'FUCK RAPiDSHARE'.

I uploaded your screen shot to KAOTICA, now when you click on the thumbnail, the RoxBox opens into full screen.

Now if the pic is hosted externaly, outside the kaoshq.com domain, the RoxBox can not format properly and the pic overlaps it's frame. Click on your original link to see the difference.

By using KAOTICA your pics will always display correctly even at extreme resolutions. YouTube links work just fine from YouTube, it's mainly pics that cause a bit of a hassle.

There is permanent link to our file host "KAOTICA" at the bottom of any forum page. Besides, your pics will never get deleted, regardless of how lewd they are.

Use the "MegaUpload FileBox" for rar/zip files you want to post in other forums.

You have have to go into your 'User Control Panel' then go into your 'Board preferences' then go into 'Edit Display Options' and set your 'Display topics from previous days' & 'Display posts from previous days' to;
