guys, doom 3 multiplayer has a max of 4 players per game (like the original doom).

You can have games but only duels, 2vs2 and 4-way free for all games will work.

Theres a multiplayer review on gamespy somewhere i think. check out <a href='http://www.planetdoom.com' target='_blank'>http://www.planetdoom.com</a> for stuff like that.

yes and yes there is a shotgun in the beta but u gotta reload looks like bfg n rocketlauncher r in there too but more emphasis on bullets :ie machine guns n shit wich i dont like try takeing these tough kuntz with a pistol

i must say scary as hell itself (i dont realy know what hell is like yet)

chaingun is for noobs

Yeah I remember Doom, first PC game I ever played. I liked tricking the monsters into fighting each other, then hiding around a corner and hearing the carnage, heh. And yep, that CyberDemon was scary as, I hope he's back for Doom 3, and those spiders, and the Cacodemon, and the BFG.

is this the end of ut2004? has it been superceeded? this is the topic of wot maybe the end of kaos as we know it.

well i can not c it as taking over as it never did when they brought out d3 as ut was reigning champ - id may have unlimited speed when strafing side to side moving ur mouse frequantly wearing the lazer out like diablo does 4 ur button, but id needs to learn double jumps, wall dodging and motor transport (if they dont have any yet?) and most importantly - the f l a c k ! ! !

d3 is all about pretty pictures and as one gamer said - scenery is 4 noobs - give me frame rate baby - or something like that. let us prey " oh heavenly game gods, let d3 be more that all expect, let it take over our lives and our g/fs get pissed as we spend our every spare minute torchering the enemy, amen " :ph34r:

anywayz... will kaos splitt into 2, one part ut and the other d3???

I dont think that'll happen! Nothing will surpass UT2004 in online playability for a longgg time in myopinion!

Well, until UT based on Unreal 3 comes out

Well Hender, it depends on the multiplayer aspect of Doom 3, and also, whether half of us even have the hardware to play it. Interestingly enough, it won't run on Windows 98, only 2000 and above.

In my opinion, this isn't the end of ut2004...
