Apperantly Epic have known about this way before the patch made it past the BETA stages, then according to some rummors I've heard..... they just removed the word BETA from the Linux Distro Patch and released it as is, an called it a FiNAL.
Other rummors circulating, from some trusted sources, is that it is a deliberate and unabashed 'cock in my arse thanks for all the cum' push by Microsoft, in forcing Epic to it's contractual will, by making the distro unstable thereby forcing everyone to go to a VERY expensive WINDOWS server for the game.
Yes, yes.... you guessed it.. ALL custom content works A... OK! in Windows Servers.

Even with the given state of the game "A huge pile of corporate shit" Linux Distros outnumber the Windows server setup's. Microsoft, let it be said, are greedy and aggressive and they will attack, undermine, buyout and destroy everything for that market share. It is one of the few Software companies, who activelly go out of their way to screw their own customers <<< that's not form me, that's by the majority of the free IT Press.

Werre NOT going Patch v1.3. Were rolling it back to Patch v1.2. The retail map content of the game is just plain shit. If we can't have custom content, like.... well.... you.... know.....
Nearly 7 months work on 6 custom maps by kAoS members, is now suppossed to be deleted?
So what would joos have me do? I mean, I'm loosing it here.. so much fucking work put into all these custom maps... so much FUCKING WORK.. hour after hour after hour..........
If there is no fix for the Linux Server, by Monday coming, it's gone, were going back to v1.2.
