Server..that bot is nothing but an arsehole. The only way to beat it is.. if you have worked out ...that the fucka wants the shield amp/ etc and wait until the bloody thing grabs the shield amp / etc and goo/sniper it..or cheat. Fucka
K..game gets cheaper / gamer has now updated his pentium266..new kid buys the game and wants to have a go at UT3. MMM he says..Ill try this online. Sees kAoS server..sounds cool, lets give it a whirl. Well rest is history as the new player didnt even get around one quarter of the map because that fucked out bot hammered him. So, he either gives up (whimp) or trys another server without fucked out bot and actually sees the map in its entirety.
Another scenario..two UT3 players have a yarn on Gammos favourite program..Xfire..lets have a rumble as I feel like a game of UT3 DM. Lets log onto kAoS. He gets there early..gets hammered by that fucked out bot waiting for his mate..Im off he says (whimp) Xfires his mate and says meet me on this server (cause theres no bot) and fucken hurry up..cause bot just keeps kickin his arse..
I may be wrong but I (and I dare say a lot of others) have great pleasure in using a shock/combo and just love to see that fucked out bot explode into jib-lets...and we all like to win.
Ok maybe Im wrong..could this be happening? I cant understand why I see a player on other servers...maybe waitin for a game? Why not kAoS? The kAoS server has great ping. And, if the player/players stay..'we' can then hammer him/them...
So, I seek your thoughts. I dare say that its kAoS legacy to have an inhuman bot. As we all know its there for enhancing accuracy and honing skills, however, it also maybe scaring a body off (yeah I know..weak gutted fuckers).
Hows about turning the skill level of the bot down to average so a newbie at least gets a chance to look at a map AND maybe someone who has played UT3 joins the kAoS server..just dosent have to work too fucken hard waiting for his mate to show up for a rumble..gets pissed off and leaves. And..as much as 'we' like all the maps..what about replacing them all with newys? By all means keep the popular stock maps and most important the kAoS maps ..but maybe introduce and play some different maps?
I might be barking up the wrong tree..what do you think???
